Actress Suing IMDB For Exposing Her Age Must Reveal Her Name…Or The Case Is Dismissed!

actress suing imdb must reveal name

That's what she gets for filing a ridiculous lawsuit!

To recap, back in October, an anonymous actress who lives in Texas filed a lawsuit against the Internet Movie Database (IMDB) for $1 million, because the website revealed that she is approaching 40 years old. Ugh.

Then in November, IMDB's owner Amazon.com struck back against the actress, and tried to get the case dismissed because the woman had reportedly "first tried to get the service to post a false birthdate so she could fool potential Hollywood employers into thinking she was younger than she actually is."

Not only that, but IMDB said that if the case continues, the woman needs to reveal her name because they "cannot fairly defend against the Complaint in this case with the identity of the plaintiff secreted."

Looks like IMDB's request was granted, because a federal judge has now ruled that the woman must reveal her name, otherwise the case will be dismissed.

The woman has fourteen days to make a decision. We're thinking/hoping that she'll do the right thing and throw this absurd lawsuit out!

What do U think? Should this woman be forced to reveal her name???

Netflix Says Goodbye To Qwikster, Stocks Reach 52 Week Low!

netflix reaches 52 week low on wall streetBECAUSE. YOU. STILL. RAISED. PRICES. BY. SIXTY. PERCENT.

While it was definitely a good move on Netflix's part to backtrack and NOT split into two companies, let's not forget that they STILL totally screwed their customers by raising prices by 60%!

Tell us, Netflix! Was this whole Qwikster thing some sort of diversion to take the focus off the price hike, so that when you decided to remain as one single service, we'd be so relieved that we'd forget we're paying WAY too much money for your service??? If so, we're sorry but it didn't work.

Netflix stock prices hit a 52-week low yesterday, and they closed down 4.8%, once people realized they were still being charged absurd prices by the formerly awesome company.

Here's what Janney Montgomery Scott analyst Tony Wible had to say about it:

Zoe Saldana's Behind The IMDb Of Fashion

Last February, My Fashion Database aka the IMDb of fashion industry quietly launched during fashion week, but we had no idea Zoe Saldana was one of the founders!

In fact, the other founder is her fiance Keith Britton.

The site is kind of a one-stop shop where visitors can find every magazine shoot, campaign, models, photographers, etc. in one place.

Zoe adds:

"Before MyFDB, there wasn't any website giving fashion professionals' credit where credit is due for their work. We were inspired to level the playing field for them while organizing the industry by fashion credits. Soon we will be launching MyFDB Vintage that will cover the iconic and timeless magazine covers and ad campaigns from decades past."

What a genius idea!
