More X Factor Drama! Contestant Being Deported!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooCherylX FactorReality TV

Cheryl Tweedy has recently come under serious criticism - and even been sent death threats - over her decision to axe X Factor hopeful Gamu Nhengu before the upcoming live show, and now the reality contestant is being forced to leave the UK!

According to immigration officials, Nhengu's mother, Nokuthula Ngazana, breached the conditions of her visa by accepting work benefits that she is not supposed to receive, and now she and her family must return to Zimbabwe or face deportation!

According to the UK Border Agency:

"The applications made by Miss Ngazana and her family were considered in line with the published immigration rules. Miss Ngazana’s application was refused as it did not meet all of the conditions for approval. Her family, who had applied as her dependants, were therefore also refused. Where people are found to have no right to remain in the UK we expect them to leave voluntarily."

Gamu's exit has elicited a huge backlash from fans, many of whom have filed complaints with ITV, claiming that produces forced Chezza to axe the contestant because of her immigration status - and some are even threatening to boycott the show unless she is brought back on!

And so many (pictured above) have even camped outside her home - just to show their support - to the extent that her street has been shut down by the police!

However, Nhengu herself seems to have recovered from getting cut from the competition, and says:

'Thank you so much to everyone. I'm overwhelmed by the support. The whole experience has been amazing and I'm doing fine. I've been overwhelmed by the response.'

Good attitude, bb! We're sure things will work out for you!

Just keep that head held high!

These are realities of life some time, and hopefully this immigration mess can be sorted out and Gamu will be able to focus once again on her singing!

And hopefully all of those MORONS will relax and stopping harassing our beloved Chezza!

Arizona Appeals Immigration Law Ruling!!!

Two steps forward, one step back. What is wrong with people?

Yesterday, a morally in tuned judge ruled that parts of Arizona's new Immigration law would be put on hold for further review, including the section requiring officials to check a resident's immigration status when enforcing other laws if there's a reasonable suspicion the person is in the United States illegally.

We were thrilled by the news, as were many others who have been fiercely protesting this law, which is basically legalizing racial profiling!

Yeah, well, the dishonorable Governor of Arizona isn't happy with this decision to hold back and has filed an appeal to lift the preliminary injunction so that the ENTIRE law can take effect…and like, NOW!

How about, instead of that, you just BACK THE EFF OFF?!?!

Ugh! This whole thing is so super frustrating! We can't stand seeing such blatant inequality being tolerated!

Boo on you, Arizona!

Victory! Judge Blocks Controversial Parts Of Arizona Immigration Law!

Success in the system!

This morning, a federal judge delivered happy news to those who opposed Arizona's new immigration law. The jude blocked controversial provisions to the law, such as the sections that required officers to check a person's immigration status while enforcing other laws.

The law will still go into affect on Thursday, but U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton ruled that those sections should be put on hold until the courts resolve the "issues."

The ruling came just in time as Arizona police were already making last-minute preparations to begin enforcement of the law.

Phew! See what persistence can do!

A much needed step in the right direction!

Rage Against The Machine Frontman Plans Arizona Protest Concerts!

Zack De La Rocha of Rage Against the Machine is planning a series of concerts called the Sound Strike campaign to protest Arizona's state immigration laws.

He explains:

"In the coming weeks we are going to be organizing a series of concerts that are respectful of the nature of the boycott in its attempts to isolate the Arizona government but not isolate the people, and especially the organizations that are fighting this on the ground."

"Many of us have begun to plan concerts that include bands that have signed on the Sound Strike, and make tickets available so that people within Arizona can come and see these concerts as they roll out."

Sound Strike participants include Maroon 5, My Morning Jacket, Ben Harper and Pitbull who have all agreed to boycott the state until the new law is repealed.

Gayface And Chezza Getting Serious!

So serious that he's going to move to the UK!

Derek Hough of Dancing With The Stars is working with a top immigration lawyer to sort out a long-term visa to the UK because according to an insider "he can't bear to be apart from Cheryl Cole."

The source continues:

"Both of them love spending time with each other. And as Cheryl is slightly more successful than him right now, he has agreed to make a huge sacrifice and move to England to be with her."

Derek is hoping to land theatre roles in the West End and give private dance lessons once he makes the move across the pond.

NOOOOO! Other States Want Immigration Laws Too!

Even though Arizona's new immigration law doesn't go into effect until July 29th, many other states are planning on following in its footsteps.

The law requires police to check immigration status of anyone they think is in the country illegally with violators facing up to six months in jail, $2,500 in fines, and federal deportation.

Unfortunately, as many as 20 other states such as Florida, Minnesota, Idaho, and Oklahoma are planning on pushing similar measures in 2011.

Supporters of the law say that illegal immigrants are taking jobs, consuming public resources and services, aiding in gang violence and filling prisons.

However, those who oppose the bill say that citizens with the "wrong color" would be unjustly harassed.

This would be terrible!! Immigration laws like these would just fuel more racism and hatred!!

We need to put a stop to these offensive measures and show that we will not stand for this kind of discrimination!
