Dumb, dumb, dumb.
Shawn Michael Robinson was pretending to be a police officer in Dumfries, Va. on January 29th, riding around in his white Crown Victoria and pulling people over on Thursday.
The problem for him was that he pulled over an actual policeman!
Robinson shined a spotlight on the car in front of him, and pulled over the off-duty cop, unbeknownst to him. The officer told the faker who he was, gave him the relevant info, and then chased him on foot!
While he didn't catch him, the cops identified Robinson, they issued a warrant for his arrest, then he turned himself in that same day.
According to the police, no bond has been set, and he'll be in court on March 4th.
So, the lesson here is not to be an idiot and impersonate the police… unless it's a sexy cop costume for a party.
