breaking bad new mexico law tax breaks movies tv films incentive shooting

If you're a TV show and want to have a real-world impact, just be as good as Breaking Bad is — because a bill introduced after how successful the show became was just signed into law! Yeah bitch!

The Breaking Bad bill will increase subsidies on film and TV productions shot in the state! This means that tax refunds for TV will be increased from 25 percent to 30 percent of a producer’s qualified spend in the state — and movies will receive other incentives like these things, according to the source:

Cincinnatti High School Paying Kids To Come To Class

Dohn High School in Cincinnatti is pulling out all the stops to get their kids to school.

The attendence and graduation rates for the school are abysmal. Last year only 14 percent of students graduated and most of the students are very poor.

The $40,000 incentive program rewards seniors with $25 Visa gift cards for attending class (on time) and staying out of trouble. Underclassmen get $10 gift cards. Good students also receive $5 in a savings account.

School CEO Ken Furrier brushes criticism aside, believing he and his staff are on the right track:

Our student population is 90 percent poverty. Money is important to them. We can’t teach them if they’re not here.

I think the thing that many parents have to realize is that these kids arev ery poor. They don’t have all the benefits suburban kids have.

The new program has 15 percent spike in attendence but is still classified as an "emergency school."

Do U think this program is a good idea?

Here's what HealthyWage co-founder David Roddenberry had to say about his company's 10% Challenge:

The Real Reason Teresa Giudice Has Yet To Renew Her Contract For Real Housewives!

real-housewives-of-new-jersey-teresa-giudice-wants-to-make-as-much-as-her-co-stars

When you hear it from this perspective, it actually makes perfect sense!

We reported earlier that Teresa Giudice was holding up production of the third season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey because she was demanding a bigger salary, and new sources are coming forward to verify that this is indeed true - but NOT for the reasons one would assume!

According to insiders, while all the women technically make around $250k for a season, the network compensates Caroline and Jacqueline's adult children for their appearances, so the Manzo families make closer to $310k and $270k respectively!

Meanwhile, despite Teresa's kids constantly being featured on the reality show, they are not compensated any extra due to child labor laws!

The insider explains:

"I think people deserve to know the truth. Bravo pays Caroline and Jacqueline more than Teresa and she isn't holding out because she thinks she's bigger. She just wants to make the same. She brings in ratings and [really] invites viewers into her house, even the birthing room of her daughter. That she gets less — that's crazy! Teresa understands her children can't get paid because of issues with child labor laws, but she just she just wants them to have a college fund. It's actually harder for Teresa because her children are small. She doesn't have a nanny, and she needs to pay babysitters when Bravo forces her to leave town for filming and press. Bravo could make it even by giving the Giudice girls a college fund or trust or by paying for a babysitter or an assistant for Teresa, yet they won't."

Wow!

If this is true, then we DEFINITELY think that Bravo needs to step it up and help that family out!

Although we're happy to see Danielle gone this season, we'd be devastated if Teresa left the show, too!

What do U think?? Does Teresa deserve to make more money?
