When you hear it from this perspective, it actually makes perfect sense!
We reported earlier that Teresa Giudice was holding up production of the third season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey because she was demanding a bigger salary, and new sources are coming forward to verify that this is indeed true - but NOT for the reasons one would assume!
According to insiders, while all the women technically make around $250k for a season, the network compensates Caroline and Jacqueline's adult children for their appearances, so the Manzo families make closer to $310k and $270k respectively!
Meanwhile, despite Teresa's kids constantly being featured on the reality show, they are not compensated any extra due to child labor laws!
The insider explains:
"I think people deserve to know the truth. Bravo pays Caroline and Jacqueline more than Teresa and she isn't holding out because she thinks she's bigger. She just wants to make the same. She brings in ratings and [really] invites viewers into her house, even the birthing room of her daughter. That she gets less — that's crazy! Teresa understands her children can't get paid because of issues with child labor laws, but she just she just wants them to have a college fund. It's actually harder for Teresa because her children are small. She doesn't have a nanny, and she needs to pay babysitters when Bravo forces her to leave town for filming and press. Bravo could make it even by giving the Giudice girls a college fund or trust or by paying for a babysitter or an assistant for Teresa, yet they won't."
Wow!
If this is true, then we DEFINITELY think that Bravo needs to step it up and help that family out!
Although we're happy to see Danielle gone this season, we'd be devastated if Teresa left the show, too!
What do U think?? Does Teresa deserve to make more money?
