Miley Cyrus, Hillary Clinton, & More Speak Out Against Indiana's New LGBT Discrimination Law!

no title

Indiana just passed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act after Governor Mike Pence signed it into law, and people are not happy!

Why?

Because the thrust of the new law is that businesses are now legally free to discriminate based on sexual orientation and gender identity as long as they claim their religion is against it.

But not all businesses want to turn people away based on prejudice. The NCAA and Gen Con have already threatened to lessen their presence or pull out of the state entirely.

Yep, the jocks AND the nerds are against it! LOLz!

But those aren't the only strange bedfellows this deplorable bill is making! Celebs from Miley Cyrus to Hillary Clinton have come out against the law on social media.

The Governor Of Indiana Just Signed A Religious Freedom Bill That Would Allow Businesses To Discriminate Against The LGBT Community

no title

Lovely.

Despite it being 2015, one Indiana Governor wants to set some civil rights back to the stone ages.

That's because Gov. Mike Pence just signed a bill on Thursday that could allow businesses to discriminate against LGBT individuals under the guise of Religious Freedom.

The Religious Freedom Restoration Act, or SEA 101, would make it so that a company could cite its own religious beliefs as a reason for refusing service to someone based on their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Upon signing the bill, the Republican issued a statement, saying:

8-Year-Old Uses Hilariously Profane Language In Voicemail To Newspaper Editor Who Took Away His Favorite Comics!

When publishing negotiations fell through at the Herald-Times in Indiana, we bet they expected some backlash.

Their readers would be losing many of their favorite comics!

But we bet they never expected to get an angry voicemail from one foul-mouthed 8-year-old!

The voicemail, which was sent to the paper's editor, starts off normal enough. A woman introduces herself, then puts her son on the phone so he can state his grievances.

We can only assume she then walked away because after listing all the comics he wants back (there are a lot) he lets out how he really feels.

We don't wanna ruin it but the word "sh*thole" gets thrown around a bit. LOLz!

Check out the audio (below) to hear one sassy 8-year-old demand his comics back.

NBA Superstar Paul George May Miss Upcoming Season After Suffering A Horrific Leg Injury That Happened During A Team USA Scrimmage!

Your Reaction?

Ugh!

This is just awful!

Indiana Pacers basketball player Paul George is one of the best players in the NBA and, at the age of 24, is also one of its youngest.

Which all made the world cringe that much harder when the star forward suffered a TERRIBLE right leg injury this past Friday during a Team USA intrasquad scrimmage game at UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center.

Doctors have diagnosed the injury as a open tibia-fibula fracture and it's expected that Paul George will miss the entire NBA season - a huge blow to any fans of not only his team but the entire league in general.

However the most important thing is Paul George's health, and the forward took to Twitter to make it known that he expects to come back better than ever. He wrote

indiana lifts same sex marriage ban

A federal district judge declared Indiana's ban on same-sex marriage unconstitutional Wednesday. Yes! That's some equal protection under the law!

And since judge Richard Young decided not to issue a stay on his ruling, same sex couples can start getting married today! Double yes!

Marion County Clerk Beth White in Indianapolis started issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples today and dozens of same sex couples showed up!

The court ruled that there was significant harm dealt to couples who were denied the right to marry the person that they loved! Excellent!

However, some of the clerks in Indiana's smaller counties have decided to hold off on issuing marriage licenses saying they seek direction on how to proceed from here.

Hopefully, they'll receive their direction ASAP! Congrats, citizens of Indiana!

5-Year-Old Has A Touching Superhero-Themed Funeral After Battling Brain Cancer

Brayden Denton's family had a very special memorial service for him after his battle with brain cancer.

We hope you have some tissues nearby, because this is the most heartbreakingly sweet thing you'll read all day.

Brayden Denton from Newton County, Indiana was a normal 5-year-old boy who loved nothing more than reading comic books and watching his superheroes fight crime on the big screen!

Sadly, his life took an unfortunate turn when he was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013, and after a yearlong battle he died on May 8th.

His mother, Staci Denton, says Brayden ALWAYS had a superhero by his side during his treatments, so his family thought it would be a good idea to

parker mantell indiana university commencement speech

We LOVE this!

End of May usually means lots of college commencement speeches, and while some are better than others… we don't think we've seen or heard a more inspiring speech than this one right here!

Indiana University grad Parker Mantell addressed his fellow students on May 10th, and right off the bat he addressed the fact that he has a slight stutter when he speaks.

But Parker refuses to go off the subject of his speech impediment, and immediately brings tears to our eyes when he says:
