Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov, students from Kazakhstan and college friends of the accused Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, were just indicted by a grand jury on charges of obstruction of justice today, according to the U.S. Attorney's office for Massachusetts.

The pair are being accused of removing Dzhokhar's backpack containing fireworks, and his laptop from his dorm room, after the FBI released pictures of Dzhokhar and his brother in order to discover their identities.

Dias and Azamat already potentially face 5 years in prison, having been previously charged with conspiracy, and if convicted of obstruction of justice for helping to hide evidence, they could serve an additional 20 years.

The two are currently in federal custody and await trial.

This news reminds us of that sad day in April, a tragedy that still is so fresh in our minds and hearts. So sad.

gucci mane indicted on charge of aggravated assault after attacking soldier at nightclub

Gucci Mane keeps fighting the law, and the law keeps on winning.

After turning himself into the Atlanta police late last month, the rapper has been indicted for charges of aggravated assault after an incident with a soldier at a nightclub.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the case, lets catch you up to speed.

Alleged victim James Lettley recognized Mane at a club and approached him in hopes of snapping a picture. But instead of simply saying "no," the rapper decided to hit him in the back of the head with a champagne bottle instead!

Ouch!!!

The incident left the soldier with 10 stitches in his head and Mane behind bars.

Now it's looking like the rapper could be in some serious trouble after being indicted, and it probably doesn't help that this isn't his first brush with the law.

John Edwards Investigated For MORE Campaign Finance Violations!

john-edwards-investigated-for-more-campaign-finance-violations

Oh, it just keeps on getting better and better with this guy, doesn't it?

According to The National Enquirer, Federal election officials are claiming that John Edwards owes taxpayers over $2.1 MILLION in public matching funds, because he's apparently still spending money through the Presidential campaign he ran in 2008!

Reports apparently filed last week show that his primary campaign from four years ago spent $836,712 in 2011 - on airfare, hotel rooms, and cellphones!

Guess that's not gonna fare well in his indictment! You know, for all those campaign finance violations!

What a clASS act.

Juicy Joe Giudice INDICTED For Fraudulently Obtaining Driver's License!

Things are about to go from bad to worse for Juicy Joe Giudice!

The husband of Real Housewives of New Jersey
juicy-joe-giudice-indicted

star Teresa has had more than his share of legal troubles, and was indicted yesterday by a grand jury with charges of fraudulently obtaining a driver's license in his brother Peitro's name, having impersonated him by using his birth and marriage certificate!

WTF was this guy thinking?! And with his history of legal troubles?

Nothing more obnoxious than someone who thinks he's above the law! Especially since he has a wife and daughters to think about!

Well, we imagine he'll have lots of time to think about them - if he ends up with 11 years behind bars, as he very well could!

Such a shame.

70-Year-Old Woman Arrested With Son For Illegal Cough Syrup Ring

Promothizine

That headline sounds odd all-around, but it's completely true, proving you're never too old to become a criminal!

Lucita Uy, a 70-year-old woman from Los Angeles County, and her 42-year-old son have been arrested for a narcotics scheme we never would have imagined in our wildest dreams.

According to authorities, the mother-son duo bought 3 pharmacies so they could purchase a powerful cough syrup called promethazine, which they sent from California to Houston, Texas.

What cost them just $9 a bottle was then concocted as a street drug called "purple drank" or "the lean" and sold for up to $600 a bottle in Houston!

To give you an idea of how much mula the family business was raking in, they bought more than 97,000 pints of this stuff, which could have potentially been worth $58 million!

The cough syrup criminals were indicted on two counts of conspiracy to launder money and conspiracy to structure cash transactions to evade federal reporting requirements.

Christopher Lamont Crawford and Kendra Patrice Manigault, co-conspirators living Houston, were also arrested.

It was hard enough for our parents to convince us to take a swig of cough syrup when we were kids, we can't imagine shelling out $600 to drink it now!
