Cher was left in tears after having a four-hour dental operation yesterday!
She had an infected tooth and needed to get it taken care of, so she went under the knife.

PETA has released another ad.
This time it tackles animal welfare and hopes to change your perception about a common food item…
Milk!
Apparently the milk that we drink has a literal 50-50 chance of coming from a cow with infected udders!!
Grossssss!
Maybe we'll take their advice and try some soy milk…

We can't even begin to wrap our head around a potential discovery like this, let alone the process that scientists used to arrive at it!
In in a super-cool and creative fashion, scientists at the Ragon Institute have located weaknesses in the ever-mutating HIV (they say that the mutations are producing 100 billion new particles of the virus every day) by using a mathematical method that had been originally used in the stock markets!
One of the sites is where HIV is attacked by the immune systems of "elite controllers" — people with HIV who are able to control their disease without any medication, according to the study, published Monday in the journal Proceedings of the National Academies of Sciences.
Not only that, but, scientists have located some HIV sectors that don't mutate as often. By taking those sectors and straight up mutating them ourselves (instead of attacking the whole strain, which would make the entire thing mutate to avoid destruction) the HIV would be forced to mutate in a way that would weaken itself or do nothing and just flat-out die. Either way, its ass has been thoroughly kicked!
Right now they're testing it in monkeys, so, hopefully the hypothesis can be verified and we can start work on helping out humans that have been tragically infected!
Good luck, scientists!!

That's a scary number!
700 patients and 100 employees have been exposed to tuberculosis at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after coming contact with one employee who had the disease.
The infected employee was diagnosed in April, but did not know he had tuberculosis when he came in contact with employees and patients.
The hospital has notified anyone who they have identified as coming in contact with the employee 90 days before he was known to developed the disease and will begin testing them next week.
LUCKILY, nobody has reported any symptoms of the possibly deadly disease that could include chest pain, a bad cough, weakness and a fever.
TB deaths have been on the decline since 1993 and the most recent data hit the lowest number with only 544 people dying as a result. 11 million people in the U.S. are known to be infected with latent TB, which is symptom-free and not contagious.
We hope the 800 people exposed dodge that bullet and the diagnosed employee can successfully beat the disease.

Prince Frederic von Anhalt, Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband, has to make a decision today that will determine the fate of Zsa Zsa’s life.
Doctors need his approval to operate on his wife’s infected leg.
Zsa Zsa’s age, 93, and the fact that she will need to be put under anesthesia makes the operation “very risky.” Doctors say that there is less than a 50% chance of survival.
The other option is for her to continue taking antibiotics for the next three months — but that would destroy her liver.
We do not envy Prince Frederic’s decision. Keep him and Zsa Zsa in your thoughts and prayers!
