It's Time To Give Up On The Other Linda Lovelace Movie

Malin Akerman doesn't think her Linda Lovelace movie is gonna happen

We are officially over Inferno, and so is Malin Akerman.

It's been a year since producers announced they gave Malin the leading roll, a part previously held by Lindsay Lohan, in the flick known as "the OTHER Linda Lovelace bio pic."

Now, the actress confesses she doesn't think the movie will ever be made. Akerman admits:

Will That OTHER Linda Lovelace Film Ever Get Made?

Will That OTHER Linda Lovelace Film Ever Get Made?

Remember that Linda Lovelace biopic that was suppose to happen?

Not the Amanda Seyfried one (they're finished filming that one), we're talking about Inferno, the Lovelace pic that LiLo wanted to star in before she was replaced by Malin Akerman. Remember that one?

Well… Not even the cast knows what's going to happen!

Harold Perrineau, who signed play Sammy Davis Jr. in the film, recently admitted:

First Look At Amanda Seyfried As Linda Lovelace!!!

first look at amanda seyfried as linda lovelace in biopic lovelace

Lookin' good!

Check out the first photo (above) of Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace in the upcoming biopic Lovelace!

Linda's on-screen hubby Chuck Traynor, played by Peter Sarsgaard (above, left), is also looking good! Gotta love that stache…and those burns! Ha!

But yeah….definitely seems like they made the right decision when they cast Amanda as Ms. Lovelace.

Should be interesting to see how her performance compares to Lindsay Lohan's Malin Akerman's in Inferno!

What do U think? Is Amanda Seyfried right for this role???

Inferno Director Justifies Replacing Lindsay Lohan!

inferno-director-matthew-wilder-defends-decision-to-replace-lindsay-lohan-in-film

If she's not in your movie, why are you still talking to the press about her?!

Director Matthew Wilder, who is directing the Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno without Lindsay Lohan in the title role, is STILL using her as a means to promote his movie, and now backtracking on how 'committed' he once was to her involvement in the flick!

He says:

“I feel like 16 tons of weight are off my mind not having to deal with the Lindsay Lohan situation. We have not heard anything from Lindsay and her camp recently but we wish her and them well. I still think she has great talent and if she respects those gifts then she will go on to show people what she is capable of doing. We're scheduled to start filming in February now and are really looking forward to moving forward without any distractions.”

Meanwhile, he claims replacement Malin Alkerman "is sensitive and hard-working and I think it’s a great decision for our project."

How quickly his tune changes!

Yeah, we're sure he'll be giving LOTS more interviews regarding the project, but we're still skeptical to see if it ever makes it out of 'pre-production!'

Sorry, Lindsay! Malin Ackerman Is Linda Lovelace!

It's better off!

Since Lindsay Lohan is in rehab, Inferno director Matthew Wilder offered the part of Linda Lovelace to Malin Ackerman - and she's taking it!

Producer Chris Hanley said:

"Lindsay had scheduling issues due to legal obligations and is continuing to focus on getting better in rehabilitation in Palm Springs, and she really had to focus on that in our opinion – and hers. For herself and her career in general it was really her decision to just focus on getting better psychologically.

Malin was passionate to take this challenge of the role to task and we feel she has the talent to meet that challenge."

We wish her well! LiLo's sobriety is much more important than a film role.
