Ever since Katniss and Peeta won the 74th annual Hunger Games, they've had to deal with the loss of their innocence as well as the loss of their privacy, something that Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson can really relate to!
In a recent interview (not with Caesar Flickman), the Hunger Games tributes opened up about what it's like to be always be in the public arena:
"People have this tendency to feel very entitled once somebody's already in the public. People feel this unsatiated need for more information that they're frankly not entitled to. That is the danger when you keep feeding that, and you keep giving people that, and they want more and more, which is how we ended up in this world in the future if you were to play into that."
It must be tough when all of
Panem America feels entitled to knowing all things related to Katniss JLaw!
Josh also talked about the price you pay for fame:
"There's also…the other side of it that is something that you really can't fully explain to somebody because it sounds kind of stupid and mundane compared to all the cool things we get to do. I come up with this idea that was: for those for who don't have it, what we get seems like a lot, and for those who've never lost it, what we lose doesn't seem like much. Like losing your privacy doesn't seem like a whole big deal compared to all the cool things you get to do, but really once you've lost it, you can't get it back, and it's kind of crazy.
Looks like to the Victor, doesn't go all the spoils!
JLaw also dished about what it's like reading untrue rumors about her:
"It's like Middle School when like Kelsey tells a lie about you. Like what the hell Kelsey? Come on."
What the hell Kelsey indeed!
With reports of Jennifer taking a break from acting after the Hunger Games finishes, we hope she enjoys some of her time off being onscreen in protected privacy!
We recommend staying away from the Capitol!
