Couldn't he have just written a poem or something?

As part of his upcoming art installation/exhibit in honor of James Dean at the Venice Biennale, James Franco carved deceased actor Brad Renfro's name into his arm.

We suppose the connection is that both Dean and Renfro were actors who died at a very young age?

Given Franco's history with unorthodox/bizarre art, we guess we shouldn't be TOO surprised that he'd do something like this, although the idea that he'd perform self-mutilation for art is a BIT troubling.

Good luck with the new art project James, but be careful!

We hope whatever carving tool you used was sterilized first…

At least someone other than Charlie Sheen is benefitting from his insanity.

Sources report that syndicated magazines like Entertainment Tonight and Extra are seeing huge boosts in ratings due to their coverage for Charlie's antics.

Entertainment Tonight actually managed to wrangle in 4 million viewers, advancing 3% from previous weeks. The same went for shows like Inside Edition, Access Hollywood and The Insider, that saw viewership rise from at least 5% to 17%!

Wowza! That's pretty incredible…or we guess, pretty alarming.

Nothing is ever going to change with him until Charlie owns up to his issues and he isn't going to do that if everyone keeps encouraging him like this. It's a sad reality, but its true.

Ignore the "praise," Charlie. Get help.

Charlie Sheen was bluntly asked if everything, from his demeanor to his conduct, was all an act.

It's not. And he's aware of how people view him.

Like a dang crazy person.

He said:

"It's not an act. Here's the good news: If I realize that I'm insane, then I'm okay with it. I'm not dangerous insane."

Not being dangerous is a relief, but, being insane isn't.

What's even more worrisome is that the insanity is making him believe in things like "addiction is crap" and "that people can have tiger's blood."

He continues:

"I'm not interested in addiction, disease, all that crap. Twenty years they took from me. I just decided that I was going to think differently, that I was not going to believe anything I'd been taught."

It IS nice to see him talking about coming to the realization that he should spend more time with his kids, yet, on the other hand we're not sure we'd want them being influenced by a warlock.

On his kids:

"There's a feeling … that I haven't spent enough time with them, and they're getting older," he says. "Not the boys, but the girls. But rather than sitting here and going, 'What have I done?' I just change it."

While we love the hilariously odd things you say, Sheenie, at some point enough is enough and you should reel it in and make sure you don't lose your kids for good and any chance of returning to work someday!

The celeb was Pauly D from The Jersey Shore! Ha!

According to our reader, Pauly D used to date a girl who goes to the school and he came to visit her at her dorm. That's when the pandaemonium ensued!
