In a new interview with People, the 36-year-old breakout star opens up about struggling with her weight, while using her newfound fame to spread a message of body positivity and self-love.
It's hard to believe that just a few years ago the NBC star hit a breaking point after years of depression and hearing "no" time after time:
"I'd be getting maybe two auditions a year, and I'd always see the same small group of girls."
To fill the time, Miz Metz took a job as a junior commercial casting agent, a gig she said was like "watching your boyfriend take another woman out every day."

The actress gained over 100 lbs. as a result of "eating my feelings" before she suffered a panic attack and was hospitalized on her 30th birthday.
Obviously, this terrifying incident snapped Chrissy back into reality, and she began to follow doctor's orders to lose weight — which ultimately helped her regain confidence:
