Parker Bagley should have paid closer attention to the sneaky criminals on Pretty Little Liars if he wanted to avoid getting caught as a thief.

Unfortunately, he must not tune into the show he was once on because he ended up charged with stealing two iPads, a blackberry, an iPod, jewelry and more from a woman’s apartment in New York City after staying the night there.

That gives a whole new meaning to wham, bam, thank you ma’am!

He has now pleaded guilty to petit larceny which will have him paying $7,000 in restitution to the woman.

Hope he saved up some of his acting money!

He must be a-okay with the whole thing because after taking the plea, he had a pretty good sense of humor. He said:

Looks like the government is taking baby steps in getting airlines to allow passengers to use their favorite electronic gadgets for the WHOLE flight…even during takeoffs AND landings!

About time!!!

The Federal Aviation Administration is currently in talks to see if they can find out practical (and safe) ways to test the use of devices like tablets, e-readers and music players during critical flight moments.

The tricky part? Not all electronic devices have the same amount of power, making testing difficult. Also, with technology quickly changing, different generations of devices would EACH have to be tested and approved.

…that makes for a LOT of devices!

We are shocked and disgusted to report that TSA agent Clayton Keith Dovel has been arrested for stealing iPads from checked luggage at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

Apparently, Dovel worked in the "Resolution Room" where the TSA brings luggage that needs "additional screening." Ugh.

They were able to catch him because a victim used a tracking device on his iPad to help police find the thief, who had AT LEAST seven other iPads at his home! Wow.

In a special primary election taking place in Oregon to find a replacement for U.S. Rep. David Wu, who resigned as a result of a sex scandal, disabled voters are using iPads to cast their ballots!

Basically, voters will tap the screen on the iPad to pick a candidate, and then they'll send the ballot to a portable printer. From there, they'll put the ballot in an envelope and send it in.

Precious Apple iPads were being smuggled across the Hong Kong border to the city of Shenzhen through a pretty ingenious plan - a zipline!!

Six smugglers were arrested after $46,000 worth of iPads and iPhones were confiscated.

Guess people REALLY want those iPads…

According to Special Agent J.J. Klaver in Philadelphia, PA, the FBI is currently assisting with Apple Store burglary cases all over the country.

Locations that have been affected include Connecticut, Virgina, and Chula Vista, CA, where a security guard fatally shot an armed burglary suspect on Monday.

So is Apple doing anything to counter these attacks? Here's what Lt. Walt Miller of the Evesham Twshp, NJ Police Department had to say about it:

"They do try to increase their security as best they can with alarm systems, security guards and the thickness of the glass."

More from technology consultant Richard Doherty of The Envisioneering Group:

"They have electronic serial numbers in the mobile phones and the Wi-Fi iPads so whenever and wherever they are turned on in the world, they will know where they are. The thieves may not be aware of that."

At least they're making the effort. Hopefully they'll step up their game even more by the next Holiday season.

We'd hate to hear of any more violence related to Apple Store break-ins. So sad and SO unnecessary.
