Sources at supply chain DigiTimes are claiming Apple will have "an inventory of next-generation iPads with about 2 million units by the end of 2011."
Given the fact that other sources are saying that iPad 3 will launch in the third quarter of 2012, it seems like this new rumored iPad COULD coming out before the
iPhone 5 iPad 3.

He's got a lot to live up to, but we have confidence that Steve Jobs let the job in the right hands.
On Tuesday, Oct. 4, newly appointed CEO Tim Cook will make his first lengthy public appearance to unveil the upcoming iPhone 5. For the media and Apple alike, this is a big day, not so much because of the new iPhone, but because this will be Tim's chance to set the tone of his relationship with the press and his new role during this event. You only get one chance at a first impression and like we said, his predecessor was quite beloved.
Still, we're sure that if this thing is planned for two weeks from now, chances are Tim is being coached and coached and coached agan to ensure his presentation is beyond perfection.

According to a new survey taken of 2,200 consumers, 31% of people are very likely or somewhat likely to buy the iPhone 5!
To give you an idea of how impressive that is, only 25% of people said the same thing ahead of the iPhone 4 launch.
