Dang, this is definitely NOT a good way to start a new year!

The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Jon Gosselin skipped out on paying his taxes in 2009 — and just when he thought that the IRS forgot about him, they smacked him a massive tax lien of $39k!!

Almost a month after Charlie Sheen generously donated $100,000 to Lindsay Lohan to help settle her debt to the IRS, the troubled actress FINALLY got around to sending him a thank you note after he publicly revealed that he had yet to hear ANYTHING from her at all!

Of course, it should come as no surprise that Lindsay's mother Dina Lohan has also spoken out on behalf of her family to thank her daughter's Scary Movie 5 co-star, and in an EXCLUSIVE statement to PerezHilton.com, she says:

Richard X, an English music producer who is normally known to be pretty selective with whom he collaborates - including Goldfrapp, M.I.A., and Kelis - took to Twitter early this morning to reach out to none other than Lindsay Lohan…because he wants to make a NEW ALBUM with her!

In the latest edition of the troubled starlet's current mess - the IRS seizing her bank assets to cover her tax leins for 2009-2011 - she's now doing just what she always does, and claiming that despite her previously reported ridiculous spending habits, she still is NOT to blame for the state of her finances!

Lindsay Lohan admitted she is a fan of Michelle Obama this past Wednesday on Twitter, but she isn't a huge fan of her husband's tax policy.

The actress responded to a tweet from President Barack Obama's account about cutting taxes on the middle class and wrote:

@barackobama we also need to cut them for those that are listed on Forbes as "millionaires" if they are not, you must consider that as well
