Alexander Skarsgard has filmed a PSA for It Gets Better, but he directs his message to the parents of this generation. He opens up on the importance of parents teaching their children to be kind and fair to everyone they meet and not to pass judgement on others just because they are different.

Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN) has done nothing but inspiring and incredible work for the last 18 years, offering legal aid to men and women discharged from the armed forces under DADT. Today, the SLDN took their inspiring work a step further and released an It Gets Better video that not only goes out to young teens fearful of their sexuality, but also to the soldiers currently fighting two wars - the war on terror and the war to be who they were born to be.
Check out the amazing video (above) to hear how SLDN knows it will get better!

Back in January, we heard that The Onion advice columnist/contributor Dan Savage, who was also a major part of the MTV special for the It Gets Better Project, was getting his own MTV pilot called Savage Love.
Now, we're hearing that Savage's MTV show has officially been given the green light, and it will now be called Savage U.
Here's what MTV's head of production Chris Linn had to say about it:
"I don’t think there are any networks talking to teenagers about how to navigate sex and modern relationships. There’s been a real leap forward in information online and the way teens communicate and Dan is somebody who brings real credibility.”
As we said back in January, we're excited to see what Mr. Savage will do with his own show.
Will U tune in for Dan Savage's new late night show on MTV?

We hope so! We think he gives very good advice and we certainly like what he stands for.
Dan Savage is best known as an advice columnist and a contributor to The Onion. You may also remember him from the special MTV did on the It Gets Better Project, as Dan was a major element to its success.
Having seen what he can do already, MTV has ordered a pilot called Savage Love, in which Dan would be the star. Cameras are slated to follow Dan as he tours college campuses, taking questions from students about sex and relationships. His advice can be brutally honest, which we imagine the network sees as a bankable attribute and Dan doesn't shy away from being a bit graphic when talking about sex.
Pair this with Skins and you've got one hell of a lineup on Monday nights. (The PTC's heads will explode!)
We'd love to see what he would do with his own show. He's definitely a personality.
Think U would watch his show?
