J.K. Rowling Had The Perfect Retort To Trump's Gross Tweet — Straight From Abraham Lincoln! See More Of The Best Responses HERE!

We didn't think it was possible, but Donald Trump actually sunk lower in the estimation of the world on Thursday.

In case you missed it, his spiteful tweet claimed he had rejected Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski (whom he called "low I.Q. Mika," presumably because he couldn't spell Brzezinski) from Mar-A-Lago because she was "bleeding badly from a face-lift."

The implication was that was why Morning Joe had withdrawn any support of him, not because of his policies endangering the country's environment, health care, security, and basic freedoms. And he insulted a woman's looks to do it. Ugh.

We all saw the excellent burn Mika used to defend herself, but Trump is the President of the United States and (sort of) the Leader of the Free World. So he offended a LOT of people with his petty, disgusting attack.

Maybe our favorite response is from a former POTUS, by way of a Brit. J.K. Rowling shared:

J.K. Rowling Goes Off On So-Called 'Liberal' Men Who Still Say Sexist Shit!

no title

J.K. Rowling is not here for sexism — no matter who it's from.

On Friday, the author went off on men who claim to be liberal but make the occasional derogatory, sexist comment about women.

Rowling explained that she unfollowed an otherwise respectable man on Twitter because he suddenly got sexist when attacking Theresa May.

For those who don't know, the U.K. held a special election on Thursday, causing May's conservative party to lose their majority.

The man saw it fit to call the British Prime Minister a "whore" simply because he disagrees with her politics — which understandably got Rowling riled up.

The Harry Potter mastermind explained that so-called "‘liberal' men whose mask slips every time a woman displeases them" are not really liberal — but more like allies to the far-right trolls who threaten women with sexual violence.

We agree! Not that women can't be insulted — just not with the crutch of misogyny!

The author tweeted a plea on Friday asking fans NOT to buy a stolen 800-word prequel story to Harry Potter that she wrote for a charity auction back in 2008. (It sold for 25K pounds, or about $49K, btw!)

Why? It's hot. And we don't mean it got breathed on by a Hungarian Horntail. JK tweeted about the stolen manuscript:
