J.K. Rowling SHUTS DOWN A Parliament Member Accusing Her Of Defending A Misogynist! Read The EPIC Twitter Beef Happening NOW!

This makes Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa's beef look like child's play!

It's no secret that J.K. Rowling has one of the best Twitter accounts on the planet — not only does she occasionally spill some secrets about Harry Potter to fans, but her penchant for calling out social media meanies for our enjoyment is basically what Twitter was made for!

But things got darker than the Deathly Hallows Thursday afternoon when Scottish Parliament member Natalie McGarry accused the author of defending and complementing an abusive and misogynist Twitter troll.

It all started early afternoon when McGarry was venting about the troll in question, and called Jo out for seemingly no reason at all:

Brian Spanner is a Twitter user who has a history of calling out McGarry on social media — and also likes to tell the occasional crude joke.

However, Spanner and Rowling have also shared a few exchanges in the past, which McGarry thought was enough to say she was supporting an "abuser":

J.K. Rowling Just Swapped Her Characters' Genders — But WHICH Characters??

Despite the MASSIVE success of the Harry Potter books and films, J.K. Rowling hasn't slowed down.

The magical author has stayed busy in the past few years by completing four novels, writing the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, as well as collaborating on the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Oh and did we mention she keeps us all on our toes with every tweet, whether she's using HP to call out Donald Trump campaign manager, or responding to homophobic Twitter trolls.

Following his anti-Muslim campaign statement on Monday, we were curious as to see which celebs and politicians would finally speak out against his hate speech.

Ahhh, the great Snape debate rages on!!

It's been eight years since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows came out and people are STILL obsessing over the fact that Harry named his second son — Albus Severus — after Dumbledore and the ever so polarizing Snape.

It all started when author J.K. Rowling decided to do one of her popular Twitter Q&A's on Friday…

A social media follower asked:

"Why did you pick Snape to name Harry's kid after? I'm genuinely curious as he was nothing but abusive towards everyone."

The author promptly responded, trying to formulate understanding in a series of messages:

Harry Potter Prequel Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Plot Finally Apparates — PLUS More Pics Of The Cast!

Are you ready for this?!

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we just got our very first look at Eddie Redmayne as the wizard Newt Scamander in the upcoming Harry Potter prequel, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Today we've got more exciting news as we found out the plot to the highly anticipated film — and got a couple of bonus pics of some characters from the flick (above)!

In the pics you can see Dan Fogler as his Jacob Kowalski, Alison Sudol as Queen Goldstein, and Katherine Waterston as Porpentina "Tina" Goldstein!

As for the plot, Warner Brothers was originally planning on continuing their MASSIVELY successful HP franchise of films by creating a documentary about the faux author of J.K. Rowling's 2001 book, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

This was a creative idea for an adaptation as the book is essentially just a catalog of creatures that was recorded by Scamander.

But Rowling stepped in with a better idea and wrote her first screenplay for the film — she only had creative input on the previous eight Potter movies.

The plot has been a locked up secret until EW revealed the film is about:
