Middle Earth is about to get even bigger!
If you're a fan of the Lord of The Rings and Hobbit franchises but just can't quite find something to match their mastery of the fantasy world, then you're in luck.
That's because 42 years after J.R.R. Tolkien's death, the famed writer is getting one of his previously unfinished works published this very month!
That's right — One of Tolkien's first attempts at crafting his own magical world is called The Story of Kullervo, and it will be available in the U.K. on August 27. (Sorry U.S. readers, you're gonna have to wait two whole months for October 27!)
Kullervo follows a young orphan boy who tries to take vengeance on an evil magician who sold him into slavery, while also tying in to Tolkien's other works through connections with The Silmarillion.
While scholars have been able to read the story in Tolkien-based academic journals for years, this completed printing of The Story of Kullervo will include additional notes, drafts, and further source material — so it's definitely going to be a must-read!
Will U be making your way back to Middle Earth with Kullervo??
