Not so special delivery…

A pizza festival in Bushwick, NY is being burnt to a crisp by ticket holders who say the event failed to deliver on its za supply and quality!

Shortly after the New York City Pizza Festival began at 3 p.m. on Saturday for "a day long celebration of the dough, cheese, tasty sauces and delicious toppings," upset attendees warned others the festival was a complete disappointment.

One commenter wrote on the event's Facebook page:

"This thing is a joke!!! 4 tents, plates with small slices, over an hr wait to get in and we are still waiting now!! Don't bother peeps!"

If that wasn't bad enough, many fuming foodies — who spent up to $75 a ticket — also began uploading photos of the slivers of slices they were given (above, minus the rapper) at the empty venue:

Can't wait to watch this guy get what's coming to him — and maybe you oughta be next, Ja Rule!

Billy McFarland, the founder of the ill-fated Fyre Festival, has been arrested and charged with one count of wire fraud in New York.

Joon Kim, the Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York — coincidentally the attorney who has replaced the man fired for digging around Donald Trump's sketchy holdings — released a statement on Friday confirming that McFarland had been arrested for allegedly defrauding investors of millions of dollars.

The attorney said:

This does not look good for Ja Rule and Billy McFarland — but it may be of note to the FBI and several attorneys

Remember when former Fyre Festival employees came out hands up saying the organizers knew full well all the problems that would turn their paradise into a debacle?

Now there's proof, in the form of gloriously horrible email leaks.

In just one of thousands of emails obtained by Mic, a mid-level employee explains to McFarland and others (in an April 3 email with the subject heading "RED FLAG- BATHROOMS/ SHOWER SHIPPING") the shipping cost for all the upscale communal toilets and showers was higher than they had anticipated — $400K to be exact!

And Fyre fest higher ups were not happy with those numbers.

But one organizer had a solution of sorts. They had also just found out that Starr Catering had dropped out, leading to the joke that it was working itself out:

Fyre Festival Employees Won't Be Getting Paid — Hear The Tense Phone Conference With Angry Workers!

no title

Rich millennials aren't the only ones to be let down by Fyre Festival.

The company that promised a lavish weekend festival in the Bahamas is riddled in lawsuits after the event unraveled into a poorly planned disaster with no amenities, music, or safety.

But now it appears the festival was just as big of a bust for the employees who tried to make it happen, because no one's getting paid for their work on the event that never was!

Co-founder Billy McFarland broke the news to employees in a tense telephone conference last week, saying the company behind the festival, Fire App, would "not able to proceed with payroll immediately."

In the audio obtained by Vice News, the 25-year-old entrepreneur said the company would love to have employees hang around and "hunker down and get back to a place where things resume to business as usual" — just, you know, don't expect to be paid for it.

McFarland's co-creator Ja Rule was on the line in the beginning of the call, but could "barely hear" anyone because of a mysterious "fucking hum" sound. The rapper said he'd call back in, but left McFarland to do the rest of the dirty work.

McFarland said despite employees being in "not an ideal situation," the company would not be laying off or firing anyone — which workers quickly pointed out would prevent them from

The Fyre Festival Dubbed A Ponzi Scheme In New Legal Docs! Ruh Roh!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooLegal Matters

The Fyre Festival was supposedly a Ponzi scheme.

The Fyre Festival has been called a lot of things, and we can officially add Ponzi scheme to the list!

A class action lawsuit filed against the festival organizers has reached 300 people, according to attorney Mark Geragos, and new legal documents claim that concertgoers suffered from bacterial infections and heat exhaustion, among other things.

According to TMZ, the lawsuit also claims the entire thing was a Ponzi scheme targeting "seemingly successful millennials," and that organizers knew it would be a disaster but wanted to screw people out of as much money as possible.

The lawsuit demands $100 million in damages.

Eek! This just keeps getting worse, doesn't it?

Here's hoping Ja Rule and fellow organizer Billy McFarland have a lot of spare dough lying around. And they might, considering how much people paid to go to this charade.
