Usually that's par for the course — if you have a major diagnosis, you get a second opinion just in case.

But Ozzy Osbourne has a much closer-to-home reason for wanting Jack to seek another opinion on his MS diagnosis — Ozzy himself was misdiagnosed with MS just a few years ago.

Here's what the legendary rocker had to say:

"I want Jack to go for a second opinion as I was misdiagnosed with MS a few years ago - it took them six months to work out that I have a rare hereditary tremor, called Parkin Syndrome."

Jack also says he has an uncle that has MS, which is probably why his mom Sharon is feeling like it's her fault:

"Mum took it really quite hard; my uncle on her side has MS and, the way my mum is, she thinks that somehow it's her fault. Both my parents were handling it way worse than I was; they were pretty shaken up about the whole thing."

A second opinion couldn't hurt, Jack!

While we're sure your docs are capable, mistakes do happen — just ask your dad.

We were devastated to hear in the past few days that Jack Osbourne has been diagnosed with MS.

We were even more saddened to hear Sharon Osbourne, whom we love so much, has been feeling like it was in any way her fault.

This clip from the Talk is hard to watch (above), because as Sharon reveals Jack's issue and thanks everyone for the support she overflows with emotion and the tears take hold.

This is so sad, so scary, and so wrong — Jack is a great guy and a new father.

The Osbournes are amazing people, and we hope they can stay strong.

They're all in our thoughts.

Just as it seems everything was coming up roses, Jack Osbourne was hit with a diagnosis of M.S. as we previously mentioned.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to him and his loved ones. Especially his poor mother, who blames herself!

His sister, Kelly, tweeted:

"Please support my brother @mrjacko in not only his bravery but honesty! i love you so much jack & I'm so proud of you!"

So sweet! What a good sister!

Fans from all over took to Twitter to express their love and support for Jack.

Jack wrote on Twitter:

"Thank you all so much for the kind and inspirational words. It means a lot. #adaptandovercome."

We hope he adapts and overcomes this disease and can live a normal, happy life.

Sharon, this is NOT your fault!

We were so shocked to hear that Jack Osbourne has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis — a devastation diagnosis just weeks after his daughter was born.

It's not just tough on him, though, it's also been tough on his family.

Here's what Sharon, his mom, had to say about the horrible news:

“I keep thinking, ‘What did I do wrong? What did I eat or drink when I was pregnant?’ I feel like it’s somehow my fault. He’s my baby, my youngest… I just want to take it away from him.”

She didn't do ANYTHING wrong, and it's killing us to see a family so struck.

Even Ozzy had some things to say:

“The diagnosis got me angry, because of all the people I know, and not just because he’s my son, Jack doesn’t deserve it. If it was me, you’d think, ‘Ozzy had a reputation and it caught up with him,’ but Jack doesn’t deserve it. He’s such a good guy. He’s looking at it as just one hurdle in his life. Jack is everything I ever wanted to be in a man. He’s my hero.”

Jack has even opened up a little bit more about how this all happened:

“I had to do some scuba diving at night in a cold lake. When I came out, I had a headache…The next day, the vision in my right eye started to go in and out of focus. There are four different kinds [of MS] and the one I have is relapsing and the most common, but least aggressive.”

We can't express how sorry we are that this is happening, Jack.

Let's hope you can find it in you to focus on your daughter, and live life to the fullest!

Jack Osbourne might be out of surgery and recovering nicely, but that hasn't stopped Sharon Osbourne from being Sharon and cracking a few jokes about it!

She was actually grocery shopping when she got the call it was happening, too!

Glad to hear everything went okay, Jack Osbourne!

However often appendectomies happen, it's still something to worry about.

That's why we're happy when we read that Jack is doing well and on the mend — AND he felt well enough afterward to update his Twitter with a pic of himself in the hospital with his pregnant fiancée, Lisa Stelly!

Here's what he said:

"This is what you look like when you have has [sic] your appendix removed."

And then he made a post-rehab joke:

"Man, high powered pain killers + radiohead = dangerous territory for me. I gotta get outta this hospital. This is getting to good."

LOLz!

As long as you're just joking, Jack!

Maintaining is tough and fast food is tempting, so we can't blame the guy!

Jack Osbourne, who looked to be a little out of shape, was spotted leaving a Jack In The Box in West Hollywood on Wednesday.

Jack's weight has been up and down his entire life, but just last month he seemed to be getting very serious about his body by starting an extreme fitness regimen used by the U.S. Navy Seals!

We hope he hasn't given up!
