Jackie Chan Reveals He Supports The Death Penalty For Drug Offenders Months After His Son Goes to Jail On Marijuana Charges

Jackie Chan has some harsh thoughts on what the consequence should be for those who are convicted of drug offenses.

It's a bit surprising since his own son, Jaycee, was sentenced to jail for sheltering others to use drugs — mainly marijuana — in his home.

After being named the first celebrity anti-drug ambassador in Singapore, the 61-year-old talked about his personal thoughts on the punishment for the penalty.

Seeing as how Singapore and China have capital punishment for drug trafficking, it's safe to say Jackie agrees with the consequences already put in place.

He says:

"On some issues, I do support the death penalty. When you're hurting thousands and thousands of young children, I think these kind of people are useless. You should get the right punishment.

[Young people say marijuana] 'it's okay, it's just like a cigarette.' I say, 'It's not okay, not in my family.'"

The actor then went on to talk about how the drug charges against his son has made him change his views on his off-spring.

He said:

"I'm concentrating on him now. [It] used to be just, 'You are a grown man.' But now I've found out that he's still a boy."

Sounds like Singapore made the right call by asking Jackie to be their ambassador on this topic!

At least Jackie understands it's a problem and is willing to work on the issue with Jaycee.

While the actor's son could have faced up to three years in jail, the judge was sympathetic because he willingly confessed to the offense and because he had no prior criminal record.

Downtown Dragons could kick butt in more ways than one!

After guns are outlawed in Chinatown, would-be gangsters must relearn crane kicks and karate chops of yesteryear while they battle one another for street supremacy!

FX just started rolling the ball on this new show which S. Craig Zahler is set to write and executive produce.

It's a wacky concept but

Jackie Chan To Open His Own Museum

Dedicated to, what else, HIM!

Ha! Why hasn't Speidi thought of this???

Start saving your pennies because soon, Jackie Chan will be unveiling his own personal museum aptly titled Jackie Chan World!

The world will house, as Jackie puts it, all the "shit" he's collected over the years from his various movies, as well as some personal things. He told sources:

"All my props and costumes, I put them there. I want people to go in and see them. Now I am planning Jackie Chan World - everything I've collected all these years will go in there. Teacups and saucers, cars, rocks, spoons. In my office, so many s**t! I've got six lofts in Hong Kong and if I want to find an Apple (Mac) I can't find it anywhere. I have to buy a new one. One day, when I die, I want my bank account to be zero. Nothing."

Basically, he's going to charge admission for people to see his storage unit. Not a bad idea, if we thought enough people would show up to see all this stuff.

Sadly, we don't.

Do U think you would want to go to Jackie Chan World?

P.S. - Does anyone else want to send the producers of Hoarders his way?
