James Brown's Former Producer Battles With Family AND Al Sharpton Over His Estate

It's sad that it's come to this.

James Brown's former producer, Jacque Hollander, is fighting with the deceased star's family AND Rev. Al Sharpton over his estate.

She is suing Brown's children over a settlement agreement that gives his children a share of his $100 million estate - 50% of it to be exact. Hollander says that Brown wanted the majority of his money to go to two trusts, including one for his grandchildren's education and another to fund the "I Feel Good" Trust, which helps fund the education of kids in Georgia and South Carolina.

In his will, he left personal and household items to his six children and wrote that if he failed to mention any other relatives, "such failure is intentional and not occasioned by accident or mistake."

Wow.

His daughter, Deanna Brown Thomas said that she and her siblgings were fighting to overturn the will because they believed that it does not accurately reflect their father's true wishes.

And to make matters worse, Rev. Al Sharpton has gotten involved and is siding with the children because "he was left out of it."

Sources say, "he always felt that he would walk away with a pretty sizeable chunk of James Brown and was left nothing."

UGH. Is there anything that Al Sharpton DOESN'T get involved with??

Just let the poor man rest in peace.
