A 20 year old woman was thrown in jail for 2 days after wearing a shirt that said "I have the pussy so I make the rules" in a courtroom.
Jennifer LaPenta said the Judge Helen Rozenberg "asked me if I thought the shirt was appropriate for the courtroom. I said I didn't think it was offensive but said I wouldn't have worn it if I was the defendant."
The judge then held her in contempt and threw her ass in jail.
That's a little harsh, no?
LaPenta wasn't even at the court for a hearing. She simply drove her friend so they could settle some traffic tickets.
Sure, it probably wasn't the most appropriate shirt to wear to a court house, BUT the judge could have asked her to leave the room or even the building.
After being released from jail on Tuesday, Jennifer got in contact with an attorney and hopes to discuss this with the judge.
What do U think about the judge's decision???
