We could not have had a better Christmas in India!!!!

It was such a special day!!!

And, what was especially surprising is that Indians - though overwhelmingly Hindu - also celebrate (in a secular way) Christmas. So lovely!

We like to think that people of all different religions are ultimately believing in the same thing - that there is so much to life we can't explain and we worship this great universe, beautiful and chaotic as it may be. What makes one religion right and another wrong? Nothing! We are all right.

We believe in energy. We believe in people. We believe in hard work. We believe in luck. We believe in believing. We believe in love!

But back to our oh so lovely Christmas, we began day 9 in India with a visit to the Amber Palace, just outside of Jaipur. Built up in the mountains and overlooking Maota Lake, the Amber Palace used to be home to the rulers of the region for six centuries, predating the founding of the city of Jaipur.

The palace is a beautiful mishmash of both Hindu and Muslim architectural styles, and it is home to the iconic Sheesh Mahal (Palace Of Mirrors).

All so beautiful!!!

In the afternoon, we took an elephant safari and had a yummy lunch on the polo grounds.

After our meal, we ventured back into Jaipur and explored the City Palace, which is the actual residence of the royal family of Jaipur. We also visited the observatory built by Jai Singh in 1728 and took a tour of the Rambagh Palace.

Indians LOVED building palaces! Our kind of people! Ha

We also visited a bunch of shops and bought Momma Perez many beautiful Christmas presents! And we topped of our evening with yet another exquisite meal!

Such a beautiful, blessed day!!!

Day 8 in India was a quiet one.

We spent the early morning sleeping in, followed by an extra heart breakfast and more shopping. We LOVE buying very unique things you can't find anywhere else. Plus, we love really tacky/ugly items! Ha

In the afternoon we flew from Udaipur to Jaipur. And in the evening, we had THE MOST DELICIOUS Christmas Eve dinner we've had in years!

All is so good!!!

Looks like Russell Brand and Katy Perry have got quite the honeymoon ahead of them!

Earlier today, the newlyweds flew from Jaipur, India to Maldives, which is an island nation in the Indian Ocean known for high-end resorts.

According to Jaipur airport director R.K. Singh, the newlyweds had friends join them on the flight.

We'd probably keep things a bit more intimate if it were our honeymoon, but we guess they're not worried about some extra company ruining the romance.

Good for them! We hope they have an amazing time!

These two both make enough money that they probably don't need a pre-nup anyways, but things COULD always sour…

Russell Brand does NOT want to sign a pre-nuptial agreement with Katy Perry, out of fear that the idea of it will ruin the magic of their wedding day.

According to reports, they'll be getting married in Jaipur, India on Oct 23, and Brand wants to keep it sacred.

Here's what he had to say about it:

"I'm trying to preserve and make it a beautiful thing… Really, love between two people is the most spectacular and ordinary thing in the world… I want to make our wedding just about me and her loving each other and we're getting married in front of our friends and family and keeping it normal."

More from Brand:

"So it ain't selling the pictures, ain't doing no pre-nup. (But) it's like a normal thing. It's hard to make it normal because there's this inflation of this toxic gas of celebrity billowing into it."

That's very romantic Russell, and we appreciate the thought behind all of this, but SO MANY people have been burnt without pre-nups. Just saying!
