It looks like Jameis Winston may have just dodged a HUGE bullet.
The Florida State University quarterback faced no charges today after he was involved in a sexual assault case when a classmate accused him of rape.
One of the biggest reasons the case didn't move forward was that prosecutors did not feel like they had enough evidence against him.
There was also a HUGE hole in the victim's story, as she claimed she was so intoxicated on the night of the incident that she couldn't consent to any sexual activity. However, toxicity reports found that her blood alcohol level was .04 and they found no traces of date rape drugs in her system.
This raised some flags in the heads of prosecutors as to whether or not the alleged victim was being entirely truthful.
There is a small chance that the case could be reopened, however if they weren't able to get enough evidence to move forward now, it's unlikely that they will be able to find more evidence down the road.
