It's hard to blame anybody but James Holmes for the tragic shooting in Aurora, Colorado last month, but one of the victim's mothers believes the Century 16 movie theater should share some of it.
Shirley Wygal lost her 32-year-old daughter, Rebecca Wingo, in the massacre and has hired Jose Baez to prove the theater's culpability.
If that attorney's name sounds familiar it's because it is. He's the guy who defended Casey Anthony so well that she was found not guilty of killing her 2-year-old daughter.
Wygal explained her decision to pursue legal action against the Century 16 by saying:

This was such a good idea!
In an effort to counter the negativity of James Holmes' awful actions inside an Aurora, Colorado movie theater on July 20, a charity called Take Back The Movies handed out 1,300 FREE tickets to five different theaters in the Greater Denver area on Saturday.
Over 60 volunteers showed up to take part in the inspiring act of goodwill which organizers hoped would "spread a little light" in response to the darkness that Holmes' act of terror cast over the entire nation.

Not surprisingly, the lawyers representing Dark Knight Rises gunman James Holmes announced in court Thursday that they believe James to be mentally ill, and need more time to assess his condition before entering a plea.
Most likely, Holmes' representatives WILL plea insanity.
Holmes is being charged with 24 counts of murder and 116 counts of attempted murder, after 'allegedly' opening fire on movie patrons at an Aurora, CO movie theater killing 12 and wounding dozens.

This probably isn't the news that the victims and their family wanted to hear, but it sounds like police officers had been warned about the danger James Holmes posed to the public WEEKS before his shooting spree in Aurora, Colorado.
Dr. Lynne Fenton, the psychologist who treated the 24-year-old grad student at the University of Colorado, allegedly contacted a university police officer to warn him about her patient's behavior.
Considering psychiatrists can only breach patient confidentiality if they become aware of a serious or imminent threat that their patient may harm others, it sounds like Dr. Fenton picked up on some drastic warning signs.
Before taking the case to the cops, the mental health professional referred

We guess impressing the other comics was more important to him than showing some tact for a lot of hurt, suffering people in America right now!
Although Comedy Central's Roast of Roseanne apparently brought some touching and genuinely HIGHlarious moments for the comedienne, there was also a GLARING negative from Jeffrey Ross, who will be censored during the network's airing for cracking a tasteless joke directed at Seth Green, to whom he compared Colorado shooter James Holmes!

Oh this is all so horrifically f*cked up!
The mother of 36 year-old Rebecca Wingo - one of the 12 fatalities of the James Holmes Dark Knight Rises shootings - has decided to sue the Centrury 16 movie theater where the mass-killings took place, claiming their exit doors should have been more secure!
It is widely believed James Holmes had bought a ticket to the midnight showing of Dark Knight Rises and waited for 15 mins in screen 9, before exiting through one set of emergency doors leaving them propped open for convenient re-entry.
Shirley Wygal has supposedly secured an

Former PhD neuroscience student James Holmes who opened fire on Dark Knight Rises moviegoers, killing 12 and injuring dozens of others was officially charged today with 24 counts of murder and 116 counts of attempted murder in an untelevised hearing.
Because James randomly shot into the Century 16 movie theater crowd and didn’t seem to be aiming at any one person in particular, he is being charged with “depraved indifference murder,” meaning there are two counts of murder for each victim.
The trial is expected to last at least a year, and no word yet as to whether James’ attorneys are looking to claim an insanity defense.
This sad, sad story is far from over…
