Can it be May 1st, yet!?

Monday night was a pretty big deal for Marvel fans… because the second trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron finally dropped!

While the first preview was leaked way back on October 22nd, 2014, this one safely aired as it was scheduled to in front of the college football playoff national championship.

The trailer really makes the movie look Black Widow/Iron Man/Hulk-centric, and we're always down for more Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey, Jr., and Mark Ruffalo, so we can get behind it!

However, there are just too many people to feature in a short 1:40 to really get a good sense of what exactly is going on plot-wise.

Finally! Kevin Spacey finally gets to address the camera in a non-Richard-the-Third-esque way!

After being nominated 8 times, Kevin just won the award for Best Actor in a TV Drama Series for his portrayal of the Machiavellian Frank Underwood on House of Cards.

We'd call that Golden Globe Awards history!

Competing against enormously talented individuals, Kevin beat out Liev Schreiber on Ray Donovan on Showtime, Clive Owen on The Knick on Cinemax, James Spader on The Blacklist on NBC, and Dominic West on The Affair on Showtime.

We are just SHOCKED by some of the names left off of this year’s Emmy nominations!

We woke up early this morning along with everyone else in Hollywood to hear who would have a chance at winning the winged lady.

There were the usual suspects, of course, who have taken TV’s top prize before but we were sincerely surprised by who got SNUBBED this year!

How could voters forget about the guy who WON the Golden Globe for Best Lead Actor in Comedy this year??

Or the top-rated drama that scored more than 15 million viewers this season??

And don’t even get us started on some of the younger faces that got ignored today!

Blugh!

James Spader is pure friggin' evil!

OK, not really, but the guy sure knows how to play a bad guy!

It looks like we'll have to leave the ass kicking to the Avengers though, since Spader has just been cast as the evil robot Ultron in the next Marvel superhero sequel!

Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to open May 1, 2015 and James will play the artificial intelligence villain who wants to take over the world!

Joss Whedon is returning to his role as director for the film and recently talked about Spader's character, saying:

Yup! The only bloodsuckers in this Abraham Lincoln biopic are bureaucrats and politicians! ZING!
