This is both touching and fascinating.

After Paul Walker died in a November 2013 car accident filming Furious 7, director James Wan and the visual effects team were tasked with digitally re-creating the late franchise star in several scenes to complete the film.

Filmmakers didn't want to discuss which shots were which at the time of the film's release, as they thought it would be distracting.

But nearly two years after the star's death, the film's creative team at Weta has revealed out of the 350 shots they worked on, a few scenes in which that they had to re-create the actor were especially challenging to pull off.

Surprisingly, artists said that the fast-paced action scenes were the easier scenes to work on. Visual-effects supervisor Martin Hill said the toughest were:

Fast and Furious 7 WILL Continue Shooting Despite Paul Walker’s Death

Production has been shut down for now but Fast and Furious 7 will indeed finish what they started.

Universal Studios announced last week that they were halting all filming for the much anticipated action flick following the death of the movie’s star, Paul Walker.

After landing at LAX this weekend though, director James Wan was asked if he would ever finish F&F7. He answered that despite the grief of the cast and crew at the moment, they WILL be back to finish the movie.

We can’t imagine how difficult it will be to reassemble the team after this tragedy. But, as we learned from the stars of Glee, difficult times to move on are often made easier when the show goes on.

And The Most Profitable Movie Of 2011 So Far Is…

insidious is most profitable movie of 2011 so far

Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch! JK!

Actually, the REAL most profitable movie of 2011 is kind of unexpected as well - James Wan's Insidious.

The independent horror flick was made for less than $1.5 million, and its global box office is already passing $50 million! Wowsa!

Insidious is on track for a final worldwide box office of between $80 and $90 million.

Still got eight months to go…should be inneresting to see if Insidious ends up being the most profitable movie of the year overall.

Then again, we know A LOT of people are excited for Fast Five…could be some competition there…

Did U see Insidious? Do U think it will come out on top as the most profitable movie of 2011?
