Banana Republic Goes Mod For Mad Men Collection #3

Third time's a charm!

Banana Republic is once again teaming up with AMC for a third Mad Men collection.

The new 50 piece collection was inspired by Jessica Paré's character, Megan Draper, and reflects the mod style of the 60s and Beatlemania.

Mad Men costume designer, Janie Bryant explained her new approach, saying:

"Megan represents the young and modern. She really represents a changing of the times."

Banana Republic executive vice president and creative director, Simon Kneen added that Megan "takes risks and is a little bit more in the know in terms of fashion" than Don's first wife Betty.

The collection ranges in price from $49.50 to $140 for women's clothing and $44.50 to $375 for men's, and will be available March 1st.

As we mentioned earlier this summer, Man Men’s costume designer Janie Bryant teamed up with Banana Republic to release a clothing line inspired by the hit show.

The 65-piece collection includes something for everyone, including suits, dresses, coats, sweaters, blouses and even hats.

As for pricing, each item is under $200, so it’s not very cheap but definitely not ridiculously overpriced.

The collection is now available in stores and online.

Banana Republic's Going Mad For Fall

Janie Bryant is at it again!

After creating a Mad Men-inspired collection for QVC last year, the show's costume designer is now working with Banana Republic on a similar line.

The 65-piece capsule collection launching in August will have something for everyone: suits, dresses, coats, sweaters, blouses and even hats.

Janie said of the Mad Banana collection:

"A lot of the pieces I brought to Simon [Kneen] and the design team were pieces from the show, some I designed, some vintage. A dress my grandmother made is an inspiration for a beautiful, beautiful dress."

Banana hasn't given out specific price points yet, only that they will be in the same range as other items in the store.

Will U be buying this Mad Men collection or are U over it???

Priced at $14 each, colors include Bourbon Satin, French 75, Stinger and Deauville.

"I've had so much fun working on this project, and I'm delighted with the result," said Bryant. "Rich velvet, heavy satins and opulent lames are the makings of classic cocktail attire and the inspiration for my Nailtini Collection."

We bet Don Draper would approve.

Kardashian Sisters Roll Out Another Clothing Line!

GROAN!!!

The Kardashian sisters are continuing their over saturation of the fashion industry by launching K-Dash, a "curvy" clothing line for QVC.

It was rumored that Kim, Khloe and Kourtney were collabing with Mad Men's Janie Bryant on the line, but she quickly shot that down on her Twitter.

Ha! Can you blame her?

K-Dash will bow on September 10th during Fashion's Night Out.

Are U sick of all the Kardashian clothing lines and products???
