Charlie Sheen Adds 12 MORE Dates To His Violent Torpedo Of Truth Tour!

charlie-sheen-adds-12-more-dates-to-violent-torpedo-of-truth-tour

We guess we underestimated the power of tiger blood!

Charlie Sheen has already made serious bank off of his upcoming, multi-city tour of live shows, called Charlie Sheen Live: My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option, and it sounds as though he has no plans to slow down - because he's just added 12 more dates that go on sale tomorrow!

$1 from every ticket sold will go to the Red Cross Japanese Earthquake Relief Fund, which we think is a very thoughtful gesture.

However, it's STILL beyond us as to why anyone would actually pay money to see this crazy when you safely watch it from the comfort of your own home via the internet!

Ugh. Such a sad situation.

Check out the added dates… AFTER THE JUMP!

Clint Eastwood's Hereafter DVD/Blu-Ray Sales To Benefit Japan

hereafter dvd sales to benefit japan

Very nice gesture by Warner Bros!

Earlier this week, we learned that Warner Entertainment Japan Inc. was pulling Clint Eastwood's film Hereafter from theaters in Japan, because they felt the "tsunami scenes" were "not appropriate" at this time.

Now, we've learned that Warner Bros will use the DVD/blu-ray release of the Matt Damon-starring film to raise funds for Japan relief efforts.

No word yet on which specific organizations will receive the money from Warner Bros, but it looks like a donation to the Japanese Red Cross of $1 million or so is likely to happen.

Here's what Clint Eastwood had to say about Warner Bros' plans for the Hereafter DVD/blu-ray release:

"The devastation and loss Japan is facing is almost incomprehensible. I’m glad to join Warner Bros. in this effort to help the Japanese people.”

And here's what president of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group Kevin Tsujihara had to say on the subject:

“Our hearts and prayers go out to the people of Japan. We are committed to supporting relief and rebuilding efforts during this difficult time.”

We absolutely approve of this! Thanks Warner Bros!

Will U pick up a copy of Hereafter to support Japan?

The fashion industry is really coming together to help those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

In addition to Coach donating $5 million to the Japanese Red Cross, fast fashion chain Uniqlo is also shelling out a whopping $25.6 million for relief efforts.

The president of Uniqlo, Tadashi Yanai, is personally donating $12.2 million from his own pocket with another $4.9 million coming from the company itself.

The country's largest retailer is also distributing more than $8 million in coats, jeans, towels and 300,000 pairs of Heattech thermal underwear.

Wow!

So generous and we're sure the recipients are more than grateful.
