Erin Andrews Feels 'At Peace' But Still Has 'Many Things To Work Through' Following Verdict — Here's How Her BF Jarret Stoll Is Helping
It's been a stressful couple of weeks as Erin Andrews went to trial over her 2008 $75 million peephole video lawsuit.
Now that the sportscaster was awarded $55 million, she's focused on moving on with her life.
An insider told E! News:
"[Erin is] surrounded by her friends and family at this time She has so many mixed emotions inside, but mainly feels at peace with the verdict. The verdict hasn't healed her. She still has many things to work though."
The Dancing With The Stars host is leaning on her family and hockey player boyfriend Jarret Stoll for support:
"Erin has the support system of wonderful people around her. Her boyfriend has been by her side through these past few hard months. They are really such a great couple. He is a very understanding man and extremely sensitive toward Erin's feelings. He is husband material and they have only gotten closer over this time. Erin is looking forward to getting back to work and put all of this behind her."
As the blonde beauty remains "extremely positive," she took a moment yesterday to express her gratitude:
"I would like to thank the Nashville court, the court personnel and the jury for their service. The support I've received from the people of Nashville has been overwhelming. I would also like to thank my family, friends, and legal team. I've been honored by all the support from victims around the world. Their outreach has helped me be able to stand up and hold accountable those whose job it is to protect everyone's safety, security and privacy."
What a class act.
We really hope Miz Andrews can get this nightmare behind her soon…
