Jason Wu is a collaborating fool!
After designing a very successful collection for Target, Wu is now partnering with Nordstrom to launch Miss Wu, a younger and more contemporary line.
The designer says the line is his most personal one yet:
"Instead of just doing ‘Jason Wu-for-less,’ the idea is to explore the other side of myself. I always see Jason Wu [the collection] as my aesthetic, my design sensibility. Miss Wu is my personality. It was really fun to explore that facet of who I am — slightly more downtown, and with a more relaxed attitude."
Wu describes the mod-inspired, 40 piece collection as

The Florida couple who bought out the entire Jason Wu for Target collection have come out of hiding to defend their actions earlier this month and their explanation is pretty shocking.
Kevin Wills told a Miami newspaper that contrary to popular belief he's not selling the clothes on eBay (which isn't exactly true, check out his eBay page here), but rather at a charity event benefiting Dress for Success.
As he so eloquently put it: "I like doing charity stuff. I like going to the ghetto and passing stuff out of my car." Wills also said he was really upset by the way other shoppers reacted and "didn't want to appease them by telling them that what I was doing was for charity."
So on March 4th Kevin, who goes by DJ Midas in da clubs, will be holding the Wu There It Is benefit at Miami's The Stage nightclub and to prove it's legit he made fliers of himself laying in bed with all his Wu swag.
Classy.
Here are the rest of the deets:

It doesn't matter it's high fashion or fast fashion, Michelle Obama loves her some Jason Wu.
Last week FLOTUS arrived in Orlando, Florida to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Let's Move campaign wearing a $39.99 sleeveless chiffon dress from the designer's Target collection.
We love how she finished off the look with a bright blue cardigan and red belt. It's so patriotic and chic!

WTF!?
A mob of angry shoppers who lined up early to buy the Jason Wu collection were S.O.L. after a greedy couple bought out a Midtown Miami Target's entire stock.
A blogger who witnessed the whole thing wrote:

Target celebrated the upcoming release of Jason Wu's collection by hosting a private shopping event on Thursday night for celebrities and industry VIPs.
Some of the celebrity guests who got their shop on included Blake Lively, Chloë Moretz and Emmy Rossum.
Chloë and Emmy were both dressed in pieces from the actual Target collection, but not Blake.
The Gossip Girl star may have arrived in a Jason Wu for Target trench, but quickly took it off to reveal a black and white dress from Wu's S/S 2012 collection.
Who do U think was best dressed at this event???

Jason Wu must not be superstitious when it comes to black cats because he's hoping this one will bring him good fortune.
Over the weekend a billboard for the designer's Target collection went up in New York City starring Wu's muse, Milu.
It's definitely attention grabbing, but what about those who don't know who Jason Wu is? This ad makes it look like he's an artist rather than a designer.
What do U think???
