Donald Trump Puppet Jeff Sessions Calls For LESS Protection Against Transgender Discrimination

no title

Guess Caitlyn Jenner's GOP influence didn't help that much after all…

If you thought from a few offhand comments during the election that Donald Trump would at least be forward-thinking when it came to transgender discrimination, we're pretty sure he blew that out of the water with his ludicrous announcement of a military ban.

But it isn't going to stop there.

Buzzfeed News obtained a memo by Trump's Attorney General Jeff Sessions to his Justice Department staff basically reversing Barack Obama era discrimination protection.

Cowardly Donald Trump Sends Jeff Sessions Out To Officially Announce Plans To Phase Out Obama's DACA Program!

no title

Don't dream it's over yet, Dreamers.

The Trump administration has officially announced it is phasing out the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program over the next six months.

This policy protects almost 800,000 people — young people raised in America, mind you — from deportation, and Trump's promise to take it away has been regarded as one of the cruelest decisions made by a president in modern history.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the decision on Tuesday at the Department of Justice, saying Homeland Security had been asked to conduct an "orderly, lawful wind-down" of the "unconstitutional" program implemented by Barack Obama in 2012.

Those who were brought into the US illegally as children had been granted temporary protection from deportation due to Obama's executive action.

Now, it looks like their fates are in the hands of Congress, which has six months to pass a law that would regulate the status of these Dreamers — and POTUS is already counting down the days:

Ever Looked Into Trump Protests Online? The Justice Department Is Trying To Get Your Name & Address

We better hope Robert Mueller's investigation goes somewhere fast. That or Republicans come to their senses and reclaim their principles to kick out Donald Trump.

OK, probably just the first one.

Because the longer he stays in office, the longer all of us opposed to the POTUS — that is, roughly 61% of the population at this point — are in danger of ending up on Big Brother's bad side.

The Justice Department under Trump lackey Jeff Sessions is requesting via search warrant detailed information on approximately 1.3 million visitors to a Trump protest organization website.

In a blog post explaining their decision to fight back, wed hosting provider Dreamhost contends this request is unconstitutional:

"That information could be used to identify any individuals who used this site to exercise and express political speech protected under the Constitution's First Amendment. That should be enough to set alarm bells off in anyone's mind."

What possible cause could they have for getting the identities and other info of site visitors? The warrant refers to

Donald Trump Reportedly Using The Justice Department To Go After Affirmative Action!

no title

Looks like the civil rights division of the Justice Department is taking a new stance under the leadership of Donald Trump and his Attorney General (for the moment) Jeff Sessions.

Instead of protecting the most oppressed minority groups, they're going to focus on all that discrimination against white people.

According to a report in The New York Times, an internal document was leaked that reveals the department is trying to find which of its lawyers are up for "investigations and possible litigation related to intentional race-based discrimination in college and university admissions."

But this apparently isn't to stop schools from discriminating against minority applicants; it's to stop affirmative action from giving an edge to black and Latino students — because they believe it's discriminating against white applicants.

Eesh.

The Supreme Court has previously ruled that race can be taken into account because of the educational benefits of a diverse student body, so long as there are no racial quotas.

But critics say colleges are using that to reject students because they're white; there are still several pending lawsuits against major universities by white students claiming they were discriminated against.

The project to take on those cases will reportedly be run out of the front office of the Justice Department rather than the Educational Opportunities Section which usually works on anything related to colleges and universities. In other words, it'll be done by Trump appointees rather than career civil servants who actually know what they're doing and care about civil rights.

Jeff Sessions Says Trump's Criticisms About Him Were 'Hurtful,' But He'll Still Serve As Attorney General As Long As He's Wanted!

Jeff Sessions knows his days might be numbered.

The Attorney General is well aware that he disappointed Donald Trump by recusing himself from the investigation into ties between Russia and the Trump campaign — and he isn't taking the boss's criticism lightly, tbh.

In an interview with Fox News' Tucker Carlson, the AG admitted Trump's criticism was "kind of hurtful," but said that's just how things go when you work for such a "strong leader."

Starting to sound real desperate there, Jeff.

In a separate interview with the AP, the Alabama politician confessed this hasn't been the "best week" in his relationship with POTUS, but noted he will continue to serve the president as long as he's wanted.

Trump has publicly blasted Sessions for the past week, prompting speculation that the AG would shortly go the way of Sean Spicer.

Sessions has acknowledged that possibility, saying Trump has every right to call in another attorney general. He declared:

How can a man be a leader when all he sees are enemies??

On Wednesday night, The New York Times published its most disturbing piece on Donald Trump yet — an interview with him.

The POTUS' take on being under investigation shows a terrifying lack of self awareness and accountability. And while that may not be new, Drumpf going after his own people is.

In particular Trump revealed he's upset with Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who recused himself from the Russia investigation after it came out he had lied in his confirmation hearings about having any contact with members of the Russian government (he had met twice with Ambassador Sergey I. Kislyak).

The President said of the AG he appointed:
