What a disturbing possibility!
A recent report reveals Jenni Rivera's father is looking deeper into the plane crash which killed his daughter and six other passengers on December 9, 2012.
According to Don Pedro Rivera, he wants the case reopened after learning that the co-captain of the plane reportedly participated in drug trafficking.
What makes Don even more suspicious is he supposedly learned Jenni allegedly had connections to former NOTORIOUS cartel leader, Edgar Valdez Villareal "La Barbie".
Insiders say Rivera used to give private performances at Edgar's parties until one night when the two got into an argument an subsequently ended their relationship. Before leaving the event, JR allegedly threatened Villareal which is a big no no when dealing with a violent drug lord!
Cut to Jenni's final performance on December 8 — a source revealed that the singer received THREE threats from La Barbie's "right hand man" prior to her taking the stage.
While no violence occurred, there are suspicions that the crash was caused by the furious cartel member, who now sits in prison for a ton of heinous charges.
Hmm, sounds sinister if true!
Considering the plane in question was made in 1969 and the pilot was 78-years-old, there were obviously a lot of factors in play. Not to mention that officials ruled the flight crew to be unfit.
Hopefully Don will find the answers he's looking for!
