Glassman claims that Teri convinced her to quit her PR job to become Vice President of her production company, which included 50% of the profits.
But she made some classic mistakes! Not only did Jennifer not get the agreement in writing, but she signed a blank contract as a "formality," which gave Teri the right to fire her at will. And she did!
Glassman claims that she was extremely competent AND forced to deal with Teri's "mood swings and unusual requests," including scheduling doctors' appointments, party planning, researching vacation arrangements and hiring a dog trainer.
The employee is claiming fraud, intentional deceit, wrongful termination and emotional distress. Teri even fired her a few months before getting a check for the launch of a website supported by Disney. And Jennifer claims she had a huge part in creating it!
Teri's rep, Brad Cafarelli, said:
The lawsuit is a "ridiculous fabrication. It is unfortunate that the many opportunities Ms. Hatcher afforded the former employee are now being so implausibly twisted and contorted." Teri and Disney will fight the suit and nail Glassman with "substantial counterclaims … for her reckless and premeditated misconduct on her departure."
Sounds like something Teri would do! Who do U believe?!
