Ready for a fifth Pirates of the Carribean movie before the fourth installment even hits theaters?

Disney is! Jerry Bruckheimer is! Even director Rob Marshall is in! Unfortunately for hardcore fans, Johnny Depp (the most important ingredient) isn't, so they're going to have to wait a little bit.

In a recent interview, Johnny Depp shares that while he's definitely not opposed to another sequel, pending a good "story, script and filmmaker", he's not quite ready to jump aboard another pirate ship just yet.

"It's not something where I would say, 'Let's shoot it next month to get it out by Christmas 2012. We should hold off for a bit. They should be special, just like they are special to me."

Yay! An actor who actually cares about the quality, not quantity of his work! That's why we love you Johnny! That and your gorgeous face. Ha!

Still, the franchise should be ready to resume once Johnny decides it's time for another because the screenplay for a possible fifth installment was reportedly delivered to Disney this past weekend!

Would U like to see another Pirates movie ASAP or should Disney follow Johnny's lead and hold off?

Is this really necessary?

Tom Cruise may become Maverick once again as a Top Gun sequel is in the works according to producer Jerry Bruckheimer. He explains:

"We were recently approached again to start talking about it but, you know, nothing yet. We kicked around some ideas because the aviation community has completely changed since we made the movie a long time ago. So we have to find a way in and how to incorporate the Maverick character into it."

But this isn't the first attempt at a Top Gun sequel Bruckheimer admits, "We tried to develop a sequel and we couldn't do it - I was with my partner Don Simpson. And then Tom took it over and he tried to develop something and it never quite happened."

Maybe that's a good thing!

Jesse Metcalfe landed a role on the new NBC drama Chase. The series, which comes from Jerry Bruckheimer, follows US marshals who track down the country's most dangerous fugitives.

We told you last month that Penelope Cruz will be appearing alongside Johnny Depp in the upcoming Pirates movie, but know we know the specifics!

Pene will be playing the daughter of Blackbeard (Ian McShane) in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides!

"She's the daughter of the bad guy," executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed. "She brings a lot of humor to it. And the fact that she's so feisty."

Sounds absolutely perfect for Pene!

Jerry also spilled that there is a planned "little romance between [Depp's] Captain Jack and the character that Penelope plays."
