Do you need sweet caffeine? Three packs of sugar in a cup of great coffee is a horrible way to start the day. While it's been shown that coffee consumption has both positive and negative benefits you can be sure that spiking that cup of Joe with processed sugar wipes out anything good about your morning drink. White sugar has been stripped of all vitamins, minerals, proteins, enzymes and other beneficial nutrients. What's left is an unnatural substance that the human body cannot handle. Add less sugar every day and begin to really taste the coffee. While you're at it cut those flavored creamers…they are jam packed with hidden sugar and are filled with empty calories.
