Jim Carrey is saying Liar! Liar! to former girlfriend Jenny McCarthy’s SHOCKING claims that he wants nothing to do with her son Evan!

A famous last name will only take you so far!

Last night Jim Carrey's Daughter, Jane, was kicked out of the American Idol competition.

The show got a lot of flak for giving the comic's daughter special treatment. Producers allegedly let Jane audition for round one without waiting in line for hours days like everybody else. Nobody likes a cutter, Jane!

Jane blames her lack of talent "nerves and shaking" for her elimination, but she keeps her chin up. She says her dad was rejected plenty of times before he made it big, so she's not giving up.

After her American Idol audition was aired on Sunday, it seems like Jim Carrey's daughter has been a topic of discussion recently.

The 24-year-old aspiring singer, Jane Carrey visited good ol' dad on the set of Burt Wonderstone, about a Las Vegas magician.

Looks like she might have needed some advice from her dad about how to deal with her recent surge into the public eye. They seem to have a really great relationship, though. We admire that.

And we're totes rooting for her on AI even though she's been accused of getting special treatment. Whatevs. Get over it, people.

What a neat surprise!

Jim Carrey's beautiful 24-year-old daughter Jane Carrey auditioned for American Idol on last night's episode - and guess what? She's good!

She didn't blow the judges away with her rendition of Bonnie Raitt's Something to Talk About, but they definitely wanted to see more of her.

She also made Jennifer Lopez feel extra old when J.Lo remembered Jane as a little baby while working with her dad on In Livin' Color back in the early '90s. Um, that was two decades ago, Jen. Do you really want to go down that path??

Jim Carrey's daughter is going to be a single lady again.

Jane Carrey has filed for divorce from her husband Alex Santana. The couple married in November 2009 and separated in October 2010. Their son Jackson, who both parties are seeking joint custody of, was born February 2010.

After announcing their separation last December, Jane and Alex have cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their divorce.

Guess she isn't doing too well in the world of love, just like her daddy.

Sorry to hear about the divorce, especially with such a young child involved. Here's hoping things stay civil.
