What other explanation could there be besides a broken heart for this INSANE outfit?
Maybe he's just attempting to channel the late and great robe wearing Jimi Hendrix??!

Earlier this month, we reported that Andre 3000, formally of Outkast, was tapped to play the legendary Jimi Hendrix in a new biopic.
Filming began this weekend in Dublin, Ireland and Andre was transformed into the guitarist to the amazement of all who looked on.
It's a pretty spot on look! We're having a separated at birth moment here!
Let's just hope Andre and the rest of the crew behind this movie do Jimi proud!

After getting uber excited by the promise of a Jimi Hendrix biopic starring Andre 3000, it seems our reaction was premature!
Experience Hendrix, LLC, the family owned institution in charge of the late music legend's estate has halted all production having to do with the flick, rumored to be called All Is By My Side.

Andre 3000 has been selected to play Jimi Hendrix in the upcoming biopic All Is By My Side. The production begins shooting this June in Ireland and we could not be more stoked to see the former Outkast member take a stab at cinematic greatness.
