Jimmy Carter Wanted Marijuana Decriminalized When He Was In Office!

Former President Jimmy Carter loves weed!!

Well, maybe he doesn't love it, but he's totally cool with it being decriminalized.

He actually wanted it decriminalized back when he was in office!!

Carter agrees with states like Colorado and Washington on the fact that it's a waste of taxes and resources to put marijuana smokers in prison.

Was Jimmy Carter secretly a dope smoking hippie?

Check out the video (above) to hear Jimmy Carter's take on marijuana laws.

When it comes to building houses for those in need, no one does it like former President Jimmy Carter!

So of course when Garth Brooks wanted to help others he decided to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity!

He joined the hundreds of volunteers who have built over 100 homes in the Port-au-Prince area, hardest hit by the big Haiti earthquake.

People just think that because it's out of the news, the problem is over, but many are still living without proper homes!

He May Be 87, But Jimmy Carter's Probably Doing More Than You

Jimmy Carter Building Houses 87

President Jimmy Carter is 87 years old, yet he's in Haiti straight up building houses.

And we say that he's "building houses," we don't mean that he's there donating and watching. He's actually doing the physical work, too.

Incredible!

Here's what he said:

'We haven't seen very much reconstruction of homes for low-income people. We have seen some the villas, some of the fancy homes along the beachfront being repaired. But there hasn't been much evidence yet of reconstruction of the homes in Port-au-Prince.'

So the plan is to house 500 people by February!

We can't express enough how wonderful this is. Such a great person, even after serving his country!

He hope the repairs and rebuilding in Haiti continue until everyone can be helped!
