Downton Abbey's Maggie Smith Is The Most Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama!

Everyone was predicting that Downton Abbey would be a hit at the Emmys this year and so far, they're on the way to being totally right!
Maggie Smith, one of our favorite witches of all time, won the the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama for her role as Violet on the PBS period piece.
She bested her co-star Joanne Froggatt, Good Wife stars Archie Panjabi and Christine Baranski, Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn, and the wonderful Christina Hendricks for her work in Mad Men.
