The two were spotted in El Lay, grabbing breakfast fuel to get them through the day!

The mother-son team did a little bit of window shopping after their breakfast meal - these two really seem to enjoy each other's company!

We don't blame either of them. They both seem like some quality people!

What are the odds that Globes host, Ricky Gervais, would target Jodie Foster AND she brings her sons as her rarely-seen date?

Incredibly slim… BUT it happened! And it was SO awkward!

We saw Jodie Foster look'n cheerful while out on a a stroll with her 13-year-old son Charles and a pal in El Lay.

Jodie must be serious about her this gf cause she's been seeing her since June of last year.

We just want to point out that Charles is only 13 and already WAY taller than his famous mom! LOL!

He's also a bit taller than his mom's galpal who he seems to like a lot. The group laughed and chatted as they enjoyed the warm Cali weather.

Earlier, we told you about Jodie Foster's dad Lucius Foster who was facing 20 years for swindling the elderly out of thousands of dollars, claiming he'd build them low-cost homes.

As we said, he was convicted of 25 counts of grand theft and 10 counts of contracting without a license, all misdemeanors.

Jodie Foster's 89-year-old dad, Lucius Foster is facing up to 20 years in prison for allegedly scamming over two dozen investors.

He apparently took in more than $130,000 and has been charged with 25 counts of grand theft and 10 counts of contracting without a license. AND, he's representing himself in court.

The Deputy City Attorney laid it all out on the table, saying:

It's not gonna be a family-rific Thanksgiving for Jodie Foster. Her father has been charged with SEVENTEEN counts of grand theft and seven counts of contracting without a license.

Lucius Fisher Foster III is accused of scamming investors out of more than $100k through a plan to build homes from Chinese shipping containers.

And get this, he used Jodie's name to build trust with his clients. So you know she's gotta be pretty pissed!
