On Sunday, transgender icon and actress Holly Woodlawn lost her long battle with cancer. Andy Warhol's former muse was 69-years-old at her passing.
Miz Woodlawn rose to fame in the early '70s after her association with Warhol and starring in Paul Morrissey's film Trash.
Since then, the late actress penned a memoir titled A Low Life in High Heels and found a revival in her career during the '90s after appearing in various independent films — including Billy's Big Hollywood Kiss and Night Owl.
In fact, Holly even appeared in the Emmy winning show Transparent as the character Vivian.
Fellow Trash star Joe Dallesandro took to Facebook following the Puerto Rican native's death to confirm with their fans that Holly was unfortunately gone.
