Michael Jackson's dad wants an enormous amount of money as compensation in Michael's wrongful death lawsuit.

According to lawsuit documents, Joe Jackson is looking for somewhere between $10-$500 million from Dr. Conrad Murray.

Here's the breakdown of where that money will go, according to Joe:

-20% for loss of support

-40% for emotional distress

-40% for loss of comfort, aid, society, and companionship

Whether Joe's number ends up being $12 million or $496 million, Dr. Murray is going to have serious problems, because according to the doctor, he's broke and his insurance company refuses to cover ANY settlement, regardless of the $$$ amount.

Sounds like this could get messy, quickly.

We can't believe this sad excuse for a father, husband, and human being was actually granted a court date to appeal a ruling by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge last year that denied his request to fire the current executors of Michael Jackson's estate, entertainment lawyer John Branca and music executive John McClain.

Joe Jackson's argument is he was financially dependent on his son, Michael Jackson, while he was alive, therefore he thinks he has the right to dismiss any of the potential executors of his son's estate.

And now a judge has given him a date to fight it out in court - October 6th.

Despicable!

This man is shameless and looks like he'll do ANYTHING for $$$!!

Joe Jackson has petitioned to overturn a ruling by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge last year that denied his request to fire the current executors of Michael Jackson's estate, entertainment lawyer John Branca and music executive John McClain. Joe's lawyer filed papers yesterday, claiming that the probate judge was wrong to ignore his request as Joe is supposedly financially dependent on his son's earnings. Because of that, Joe's lawyer argues, he had the right to object who makes the financial decisions concerning the estate.

Wah! Wah! Wah! We were so hoping someone had given you enough money to shut you up! We're so bored of watching you desperately try and snag MJ's millions away…and from your own grandchildren too.

WTF?!

South Korean newspaper, Segye Times, is suing Katherine Jackson for $13 million.

The Times got a judgment against the Jackson Family in 1994 for $4 million after they gave Katherine, Joe and Jermaine a $5.5 million advance for a series of family concerts that never happened.

And now Segye is claiming that with interest, they owe $13 million. They are looking for an order forcing the Jackson estate to pay the paper any money they might pay Katherine.

It really is all about the $$$$$ with this family.

Joe Jackson has reportedly withdrawn his request to receive an allowance from Michael's estate.

Originally, he wanted $20,000 a month! Sources even claim that Katherine Jackson was heard saying, "Don't give that old goat more than $10,000."

Hmm - inneresting! We wonder what happened to make him withdraw his request! No way could it have been a change of heart!

Joe Jackson's attorney Brian Oxman is naming Katherine Jackson and Michael Jackson's three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, as "nominal plaintiffs" in the wrongful death lawsuit Joe is filing against Dr. Conrad Murray.

Katherine's lawyer Adam Streisand says:

"Mrs. Jackson has no interest in Conrad Murray other than seeing that justice is done in the criminal courts. She certainly would never tap Brian Oxman for the job of filing any kind of lawsuit for her or the kids."
