Kids don't stay kids forever!
Someday your baby will be too big for a high chair, their dress-up clothes, and even their stroller. One perecious reader asks Jogger Mom for some help identifying when that time comes. She asks:
"My kids are 4 and 6 do you think they are too old to be in a jogging stroller while I run?"
Jogger mom's answer:
I had battled with this decision for months myself. My kids were getting older and growing less patient in the jogger. I still needed my daily dose of exercise and knew they could not keep up with me on a bike. I ended my jogging stroller journey with a Baby Jogger Performance stroller that held 150 lbs. Truth be told, I could still be pushing my 10 and 8 year old around in it today and be under the joggers weight limit!
I gave up my jogging stroller when it was no longer fun for both my children and I to go out for a run together. Just remember that you want it to be a positive experience for both of you. You will know when the time is right to go back and run solo again!
