We can't wait to see the SNL sketch about this one!!
Lana Del Rey is too hip for hands-free, but is she cool enough to pull off playing a fashionista??
In the music video for National Anthem, Lana will become Jackie O and controversial rapper A$AP Rocky is set to star as — wait for it — President John F. Kennedy.
For the love of all that's holy, we desperately hope they won't try and recreate the assassination!
Some assume this is a

Among many, many, many other things!
In one of the most scathing reports about the former President every printed, a former aide to John F. Kennedy claims that she had an 18-moth affair with the legendary leader in which he took her virginity and forced her to do drugs.
Former White House intern Mimi Alford, now a grandmother, reveals that in the summer of 1962, she began a torrid love affair with JFK that lasted until his assassination. While Jack has notoriously been considered a playboy, this affair was conducted right under the watchful eye of his wife Jackie O — and even in her bed.
According to Mimi,

We don't think we'd want this vehicle on our driveway, but to each their own!
Over the weekend, the 1964 white Cadillac hearse that carried JFK's body following his assassination in Dallas sold for $176,000 at an Arizona auction!
The hearse was purchased by 67-year-old Stephen Tebo, a commercial real estate investor who lives in Boulder, Colorado. He says he's hoping to "open a museum with his collection of cars."
Good luck with that, Stephen! And congrats on UR macabre historical purchase!

Just in time for the 50th year anniversary of John F. Kennedy's inauguration into the White House.
ABC has announced it will premiere a primetime special this September featuring never-before-heard tapes of Jacqueline Kennedy talking about the JFK assassination and her years in the White House.
The tapes, recorded in 1964, surfaced when the History Channel announced the $25 million miniseries about the Kennedy family.
Mrs. Kennedy stipulated that the tapes can not be made public until after her passing. They consist of a long conversation she had with historian Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr. shortly after her husbands assassination.
Although at first hesitant, the couples only surviving child Caroline Kennedy is said to be participating in the special.
There should definitely be something interesting insight and secrets revealed during the special, so we can't wait to hear these tapes!
Will U watch ABC's Jackie Kennedy special?

Nothing but serious work for Jack Dawson Arnie Grape Leonardo DiCaprio.
Leo is set to star and producer a new film based on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy called Legacy of Secrecy. Though Leo won't be stepping into the iconic presidential role, he's slated to play play FBI informant Jack Van Laningham, the man that Mafia godfather Carlos Marcello supposedly confessed to about ordering the hit on JFK.
Good angle! There's been so many movies about the subject of JFK's murder, but focusing on Jack instead of John could be very interesting.
We're intrigued! Are U?

We're surprisingly impressed!
Check out the just-released promotional poster for the upcoming mini-series on The History Channel, The Kennedys (above), featuring Greg Kinnear as President John F. Kennedy and Katie Holmes as his wife, Jackie Kennedy Onassis!
We don't know if it's just some good photoshop and lighting trickery, but we think that they look remarkably like the real-life versions! Well done!
Let's hope that the actual series doesn't disappoint!
Thoughts??

Delicious AND expensive!
Check out (above) this sugar Presidential Seal, which was featured on President John F. Kennedy's birthday in 1962 and is now up for auction!
According Lois Larkin, her husband, the late NYPD detective Patty Larkin, was working security detail the night of Kennedy's birthday party at Madison Square Garden - the very same one at which Marilyn Monroe sang "Happy Birthday" - and when he realized that the decoration was going to be thrown out, he took it home with him!
The piece is now up for auction on November 17th, at the Heritage Auctions in Dallas, and is estimated at being worth over $5,000!
Holy shiz! That is one vintage, patriotic dessert!
Hopefully it can continue to be preserved wherever it ends up!
