Throwback Thursday: The Original 1977 Star Wars Trailer Makes The Movie Look TERRIBLE! Watch HERE!!

The new teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens dropped today, and it is AH-Mazing!

In the spirit of Throwback Thursday, we took it way back to 1977 — when the trailer for the original Star Wars movie was released!

It's no argument that the original film with Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher holds up, as the classic film was light-years ahead of its time. But after watching the 1977 trailer for the hit Sci-Fi movie, we can't help but LOL! It's SO bad!

[ Video: Here's The Lost Carrie Fisher Interview That Will Make Any Star Wars Fan's Day! ]

Some of the Star Wars spirit is noticeably absent in the trailer, but that could be attributed to the lack of music from John Williams – who composed the iconic score to the franchise.

These days, trailers have evolved into fast paced marketing devices, which is evidently far, far, away from how they used to be.

Ch-ch-check out the nostalgic trailer (above) to watch a story "from the man who brought you American Graffiti" George Lucas about a boy, a girl, and a universe!

Everything old is new again! And we don't just mean the 65 million-year-old dinosaurs either!

There are precious few shots in this teaser for the full trailer (which premieres on Thanksgiving Day), but every one reminds us of the original: the gate opening, the flock of gallimimus, Chris Pratt's sexy facial hair…

OK, that last one is new!

Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to get your first look at the futuristic park (and nostalgic sound — check out that familiar John Williams score) of Jurassic World!

June 12th next year is too far away! WE DEMAND to see the movie way earlier than that!

Life Is Good! Pi Wins The Golden Globe For Best Original Score!

life of pi

You may not be able to sing along to it, but the score can make or break a movie moment!

And Best Original Score can be one of the toughest races at the Golden Globes! So a big congratz goes to Mychael Danna and his work in Life Of Pi!

Ooh, tough luck, John Williams! Guess you'll just have to settle for being the most venerated composer in Hollywood history!

And hey, even Lincoln lost eight elections!

Mychael also beat out the beautiful music of Alexandre Desplat in Argo, Dario Marianelli in Anna Karenina, and Tom Tykwer, Johnny Klimek and Reinhold Heil in Cloud Atlas!

No easy feat! All we can say for Mychael is…

SCORE!!!

Star Wars Calms Crying Baby

They say that music calms even the savage beast, but it takes some pretty amazing music to stop a baby's crying!

Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see John Williams' epic Star Wars Main Titles turn this little guy's frown upside down!

Impressive! We're guessing he's probably just calming down so he can read the crawl!

Either way, this is definitely an old Jedi mind trick every parent will want to try!
