In a recent sit-down interview, the FAB singer revealed she noticed the tension between the group (before Camila Cabello's sudden departure) — and without going into too much detail, JoJo just had this to say about the situation:
"My advice is to always stay in the spirit of gratitude … and that you just want to keep that perspective in check whenever you feel a little too excited about yourself."
Why do girls always go to the bathroom in groups? For the kickass musical collabs, obvi!
JoJo, Alessia Cara, and DNCE's JinJoo Lee all took a collective bathroom break during Tuesday's Kissmass concert at Charlotte, North Carolina's Spectrum Center — AKA the Time Warner Cable Arena — but their pee party actually turned into an AH-mazing jam session!
And we don't really blame them. The acoustics are always best in the bathroom!
So what does exec producer Selena Gomez think of all this controversy? It's pretty much what she was going for. She told the AP:
"We stayed very true to the book and that's initially what Jay Asher created, was a beautifully tragic, complicated yet suspenseful story, and I think that's what we wanted to do. We wanted to do it justice and, yeah, that's going to come no matter what. It's not an easy subject to talk about, but I'm very fortunate with how it's doing. I'm overwhelmed. I'm very proud of it."
Whatever your reaction to the show, it is getting a lot more people to talk about the problem of teen suicide.
