We are swooning over the fact that the Mad Men star once was a daycare teacher. Apparently he LOVES kiddies, but isn't 100% sold on having one of his own.

He recently admitted:

Hunky-hunk, Jon Hamm, says he isn't cut out to be daddy.

In the Hammster's opinion, he's as fit to be a parent as his Mad Men alter-ego, Don Draper.

Jon told reporters:

"I'd be a terrible father! I see my friends who have children and I'm like, 'Dude, how are you even upright, much less here at work at 6 a.m.?'"

Even though Jon doesn't want to be responsible for a kid, he can not deny their appeal.

Jon, revealed what he really thinks about his Mad Men co-star January Jones's newborn son, admitting that:

"Xander's cute as a button!"

AW!!

Jon, you can't deny future generations of your sweet/handsome genes.

If you won't raise kids yourself, at least be a sperm donor! LOL!

Just don't get it.

Friends With Kids writer, director and star, Jennifer Westfeldt, was inspired to write the film after she, and long time BF Jon Hamm, became the last couple in their group to not have a kids.

After 15 years of dating Don Draper, you'd think it would be like, realy hard to NOT make a baby. Howeves, Jen says the years of childlessness just kind of happened.

She admits that she always thought she'd have kids by now:
