Batman Gets The Bespoke Treatment From Giorgio Armani

Because Bruce Wayne wasn’t already fresh enough!

Christian Bale got hooked up with some sweet custom Armani suits to play Bruce Wayne in The Dark Knight Rises.

Costume designer Lindy Hemming created one charcoal grey pinstripe, two-button suit and another in grey plaid, which both feature the Giorgio Armani for Bruce Wayne label.

Armani bespoke about the suits, saying:

"In the lexicon of superheroes, it's an honor to be associated with such an intriguing character as Bruce Wayne. It's a privilege that the role again partners me with the talented Lindy Hemming, to create another classic look that projects strength and consistency in Wayne's edgy, mysterious world. To be involved with the design process for a tremendous talent like Christian Bale is a rewarding experience. I'm thrilled to play a small role in the Dark Knight legacy."

As are we, King Giorgio, as are we!

Of course the designer didn't stop at Christian Bale. Armani also clothed his co-stars Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anne Hathaway.

Swanky!

Now we have even more to look for in the film!

Flashback! Zooey Deschanel's 1997 Letter To Vogue

zooey-deschanel-1997-letter-to-vogue.jpg

Long before she was the New Girl and spreading Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear, Zooey Deschanel was just another 17 year old flipping through the pages of Vogue and she didn't like what she saw.

In 1997, a young Zooey wrote a letter to the magazine asking them to celebrate the beauty of all women rather what they consider to be "ideal".

Vogue ended up publishing the letter and her (500) Days of Summer co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt posted it on his Tumblr this week:

"Why would you want to limit the spectrum of beauty to an "ideal" when you, as a popular womens magazine, have the opportunity to expand it? I don't think any woman should have to feel as if she needs to shove herself into an "ideal" to be beautiful. Beauty should be something that is celebrated and something that is enjoyable, not something that people should feel uncomfortable about achieving. Most of the women, and certainly most of the adolescent girls, in the United States do not feel completely secure with themselves, especially with their appearance; is insecurity something you want to advocate? As American women, we don't need discouragement, but inspiration."

And 14 years later not much has changed.

Thoughts???

50/50 star Joseph Gordon-Levitt is on the cover of BlackBook's Remix issue looking awkwardly adorable.

There's even more awkward cuteness that went on during his photo shoot, which you can check out in the gallery (below)!

P.S. Aren't U glad he got rid of that ponytail from his 3rd Rock From The Sun days?

Vanity Fair's Seeing Stars

Vanity Fair is going back to basics with their 17th annual Hollywood issue.

Unlike previous issues, the March cover doesn't feature any teenagers just "the most exciting actors and actresses of the moment".

So who made the cut?

From left to right: Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway, James Franco, Jennifer Lawrence, Anthony Mackie, Olivia Wilde, Jesse Eisenberg, Mila Kunis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Andrew Garfield, Rashida Jones, Garrett Hedlund, and Noomi Rapace.

Oh and somehow Robert Duvall and a baby lion qualified too.
